Ruu'sh stared at her, quite amused. He lightly dug his claws into the earth below him, wishing it was one of those gazelle instead.
He took a sigh and looked upward at the bright sky. It was around dusk now, or so it seemed.

"Getting late eh?" The cheetah gave him a dark smile, "You're not afraid of the dark are you?"
Her tail lashed a bit in a mocking way. The cheetah gave an evil mocking laugh as she strutted in the fashion a confident villan might. Yeah, it didn't look evil on Pilate. She was to playful.
"But I guess it is getting late... and you probably got things you need to do?" The cheetah took a step closer and peered up at him.

He stared at her, frowning at her mocking tone. Darkness was nothing more to him as light was. He was still alone, no matter what.
"Of course not." He replied, short.
Promptly he padded around her, tail swishing behind him.

Pilate blinked , "R-really?" Usually most of her play pals scattered after hits of it getting dark.
Though, she was getting bigger now. Maybe adults didn't have places to be.
The cheetah's eyes followed the yellow leopard as he padded around her.

The male glanced over his shoulder, staring at the cheetah with a slight smirk. He didn't want to leave her as much now, but where would they go?
"You sound scared." He said, grinning now with amusement.

Pilates brows lowered a bit at his comment but she didn't say anything snarky back to him. Her tail twitched a bit though.
"I'm not scared," She said finally looking off at a random direction. "Well any way its probably getting to late to travel back to my den any how alone. If you want to come with me you can."
Her bouncy mood came back, "As long as you promise not to piss off any gazelle. "

Alone. The word seemed to stick in his mind. Maybe because it answered most of his questions already.
"I'll go with you." He smiled at her, ears flicking lightly. "I have no place to go anyway, you know?"

Pilate mirrored him with a smile of her own.
"Alright ," She smiled and flicked her tail playfully, "Stay close then. Don't want to lose you."
And off the cheetah went.... in the wrong direction of her den.

Ruu'sh smirked while trotting beside her. "Lose me? I'm sure you could see my hide a mile away--in pitch black darkness."
He suddenly mused; it was his prime downfall while hunting on land. Silly prey could easily spot him waaaay before he had a chance to pounce.

Pilate opened her maw but then nodded. "Your right, and probably the same could be said about me." The cheetah grinned, her radioactive pelt was beautiful but wasnt the greatest for hunting.
"Its getting pretty late. I don't know if it would be totally safe to go all the way back to my den," The cheetah looked around her surroundings. "Probably should crash under a tree or something.."

Ruu'sh sat and shrugged his shoulders, smirking still. "You are scared of the dark, aren't you?" He smoothed his tail with a paw, continuing, "There's two of us, you know. I doubt anything would be stupid enough to mess with us. And we're easy to spot, remember?" He laughed.

Pilate frowned and puffed out her chest. Course she wasn't fraid of the dark. The hyena couldnt help mirror Ruu'sh's laugh though.
"Alright alright, lets just fine a place to set up camp at least." The cheetah stuck a tongue out at the leopard and pranced about.

Ruu'sh shrugged at her. "A tree, a rock? Preferably a tree...." He flicked his tail ever-so softly.

The cheetah lifted a brow at him. Oh right, Leopards could climb. She chewed her lip some.
" I can't climb up a tree.. But I dont mind staying under one, " She had spent many nights alone on the savanna as a cub. It really didnt bother her to much.
A big tree was up just a head, perfect for spending the night in if you could climb.
"How about that tree?" The cheeta tilted her head.
