Kasen decided this game of hide and seek wasn't going to do much than confuse each other, so he decided that the darkness should vanish. Kasen began reabsorbing the reiatsu that provided the dark cloud and he stood there a few feet away from Zaine. "Bakudo #4, Hainawa." Kasen pointed his palms together at Zaine and released a yellow rope of reiatsu to entangle him. "Deflection, sword, self, all are Zaine's possible ways to block this, yet his most obvious of choices are..." Kasen thought as he stood there releasing the kido.

Zaine grinned as the darkness dissipated, he was mildly shocked to see how close he was to Kasen. " Nice trick my friend, when did ya pick it up?" he asked with a chuckle as he sidestepped the rope and jumped into the air, using a burst of reiatsu to propel himself at Kasen.

"Always had it, never showed it to you though." Kasen said as he brought his blade up and slashed at Zaine's head. "Honto?" Kasen said in Japanese at Zaine's action.

"Nice, but it seems to hinder you as well as your opponent." Zaine said with a grin and threw a reiatsu coated fist at his friend's blade, attempting to knock it away from him.

Kasen held his place as he unsheathed his other sword and swung upward at Zaine's chest. "Hinder, no, high expectations, I don't know." Kasen said as he swung at Zaine while pushing his blade forward at Zaine's fist.

Zaine flew back with a well timed reiatsu burst, recieving only long shallow cut along his chest, landing with a rustle of cloth he looked with a grin at his friend, grabbing his zanpakutoh from his back and assuming a defensive posture. "Come on, you seem so uptight."

Kasen brought the sword in his left up and swung down with swift force to wipe the small drip of blood that was left on it. He sheathed that blade and held his zanpakuto in his right. "Now that crosses the line, calling me uptight makes it sound as if I am a really-organized person..." Kasen said grinning as he started to gather reiatsu into his blade as he charged forward and dropped for a second to slash at Zaine's leg.

Zaine used his bottom blade to intercept the slash at his legs, then using the momentum he flicked his wrist, sending the top blade down on Kasen's sword arm, attempting to simply get him to jump back. "Well quit acting so damn gloomy then!" Zaine retorted with a grin.

"We can't be happy all the time, we're not like you!" Kasen shouted as he switched blade in hands and tried catching Zaine's blade. "A dual-bladed zanpakuto, where have I seen that before?" Kasen said as the blade's shape was too familiar to him. Kasen stabbed upward at Zaine's stomach as his hand tried to keep a grip on Zaine's blade.

"Who says I'm always happy? Certainly not me!" he shouted back, "As to my zanpakuto I know not what you mean, however." he paused as he sidestepped the punch to the stomach, releasing his Zanpakuto to do so and quickly grabbing it while lauching a powerful punch towards Kasen's face. "Answer me this!! Why have you changed since our last fight? Do you fear to loose control again?!"

Kasen leaned back to dodge the punch and jumped back far enough to give space between them. "Why? Because you don't give me a challenge, where's that person who fell on the rock, instead I get this person who I don't recognize at all." Kasen said at Zaine who was beginning to bore him. "Show me what you've learned." Kasen said as he was beginning to think that he had no reason to lose control, or anything that could interest him at the moment.

Zaine lifted an eyebrow, "You think that you can just ask for that? No it has to be earned, besides you are hardly giving me reason to use anything I have learned." he said as he leapt back from Kasen, "You may say that I don't give you a challenge, but in my eyes, you havent earned my total conviction either."

Kasen grinned as he had a plan all along. "Zaine, you forget one thing....Never give me time to do something otherwise you'll get burned." Kasen said as he created a flaming arrow the size of half his blade. "Kasen..." The arrow was 8 inches long, and was ready to destroy anyone who would be caught in its burning path. He held his zanpakuto with both hands and swung forward releasing the arrow with a swift speed of 75 mph at Zaine. "Hopefully you remember...You can't stop this no matter what." Kasen said as he waited for the arrow's effect.

"And you forget, Dont expect me to fall for the same thing twice!" Zaine returned, sidestepping the arrow and dashing directly at Kasen, his left fingers flickered with reiatsu.

"Yet you fall for it at the same time!" Kasen said as he closed his fist as he had control over the arrow and created and explosion with a diameter of 20 feet. Kasen jumped into the air and ran up as he waited upside-down. "My equality for this battle is losing its patience." Kasen said as he looked at Zaine getting closer to the flames.
