Suddenly, Rythe was thrown backward out of his place at the Slytherin table, and against the wall. After falling to the ground, he began to grow fur, flappy dog ears, a tail and paws.
He began to panic as he instinctively scratched his ears and chased his tail. He howled wildly as the students who could see what was going on laughed at him. He began to run out of the room, but was stopped and lifted slowly into the air.

Professor Hessian levitated Rythe back to his place at the table, while turning him human again.
"Put your wand away. If I see it out again, you'll be cleaning the thestral stalls with the Gamekeeper..." He warned.
Hessian paused to look over the Slytherin table to make sure no one else had wands out, then walked up to the staff table and sat down.

Lecerne didn't know what to do but watch in awe as the spell was cast and Rythe was turned into a dog. She couldn't help but laugh when she saw him run around the room. The whole situation calmed her down. She wasn't so nervous now.. She had Rythe to thank for that.
I guess I better not try to practice spells around professor Hessian anytime soon she thought to herself smugly

After watching the display, Edalene tsked her tounge distastefully, then went back to eyeing the deserts.
"Hmm..which one, which one, which one?" After another minute of asking herself this question she decides to take one of each.

Akira smiled as she watched the boys spell backfire on him and her turned into a dog. "They should have known better," she said to the girl sitting next to her.
She took the chance to sneek a glance at her boyfriend sitting at the Gryffindor table. He locked eyes with her and she smiled before turning back to her food and pretending to care about what was happening to the dog who got turned into a dog. Running her hand through her blond hair she smiled and picked at the rest of her chicken.

Lucerne looked around the table.. I guess there's not that many first years for Slytherin this year... I should consider myself proud then She had a smug smile on her face. She started to pick at her food but then caught herself gazing at the stained glass windows once again..

Lucerne started to play with her hair and look around the table.. Several students were frowning abouth Rythe's little stunt... She thought about it too and remembered that she had to 'thank' him for getting himself banned from the first game. Just when everything was going well

Kirara comes into the hall and sit down beside some new first year with blonde hair. Wow, she looks like Scorpius. "Hi, I'm Kirara Black, fifth year. I'm our quidditch captain, and we need some more players. Maybe I'll see you at the tryouts? Oh, and what's your name?"

I'm our quidditch captain, and we need some more players. Maybe I'll see you at the tryouts? Oh, and what's your name?" Lucerne turned to look at the Kirara... she was caught off guard and she hated when that happens, but she let it slide. "Pleasure to meet a relative," She said with a smile, "I'm Lucerne.. Lucerne Malfoy... So you are the captain? I'll be there for try-outs, not to worry."

"A Malfoy.. on the Quidditch team. A first year, no less. How...interesting. This year is going to be rather eventful. Don't you think?"Nerissa whispered absentmindedly to Aelurus. She continued to glare at the students, before one caught her eye. "I wonder..could that be..?" She shook her head as she thought this, "No.. best not to ask. I can always find out later..."
