Divena "Uh... okay," she agreed, confused. She had no clue why he was telling her all this, or even why he wanted honesty between them. Crimson Dawn didn't handle confusion well, so she decided to fix that problem. "Why are you telling me this, again?"

Divena "Wait, so, I'm hurting you?" she asked, just to confirm. She didn't really believe that whole lifemate nonsense, but... well, she didn't like the idea that she was causing him pain. "Because you can't touch me? That's easy enough to fix. Sort of." She poked him lightly before moving so that she was sitting right next to him.

But you are still a child...and the rules of my people dictate that I must wait until you are an adult. So I cannot touch you." He inched away against his own will. She was warm and so real next to him.

Divena Crimson Dawn frowned at him. "I don't get it," she admitted, though she didn't move any closer to him. "What does touching have to do with age? My sisters, brothers and I touch each other all the time."
