TonyClownboye Juggalo_Skitso You know I'm sick of people saying that ICP is all about money, let me point this out, loud and clear, without money ICP cannot make more music, if they dont make money then they cant make more music. Its as simple as that. And I have seen many los and lettes quit 'cause ICP are evil corporate bastards and wah-wah-wah. What those people dont know is Psychopathic spends hundreds of thousands of dollars for their tours, their instores, the free hook-ups, the swag, the JCW tours, and especially the Gatherings. They are releasing a 4th version of Bang Pow Boom, which is supposed to come out this December I believe. dude. at some point they was acting like they werent about money. then theyre like 'BUY IT! OWN IT!' and all that s**t. before it was like 'dont buy our ******** action figures, b***h we dont give a ********'. now they put it in your face that they want you to buy their merch. theyre 'not sorry if they tricked you'
I have to point out that there's a difference between action figures and shirts though. Like, they could care less if you didn't have any merchandise, but as artists, yeah, they want you to BUY their music because they want some support in what they do.
They have to advertise a little bit. Otherwise very few people would know what the hell Bang Pow Boom even is, or even their other albums for that matter.

I wouldn't say they put it in your face. I haven't felt pressured to buy any of their stuff. But I do anyway, cos I want it. When they say "we're not sorry if we tricked you", they mean about all of the wicked sh!t and how they linked it all with their form of God and Shangri-la, not about marketing. They said it didn't have to do with them, just about the message basically. They wanted you to get the message, if nothing else. A lot of people quit liking them once they found out that they had messages behind their songs. "BUY IT! OWN IT!" is just simple marketing. Everybody advertises, even non profit organizations.

Mr Mercurial you do got a point there, and yeah lots of people quit liking them once they found out that the Dark Carnival was about God and all that noise, and I gotta say it was pretty obvious to me, I mean, they mention more and more of it on each jokers card. And now that the jokers cards era is complete, but as it turns out not, very many people got the message, so what theyre gonna do is, they are gonna make more Dark Carnival characters not Jokers Cards, Bang Pow Boom, was another character that works for the Dark Carnival. Figuring out the Dark Carnival is like trying to solve one of the Riddler's puzzles and/or riddles lol.

Meh I downloaded it then bought it... lol its actually the first time i bought a CD from hot topic, but i mean 20 bux for the CD and a Shirt... thats a good deal.
Either way PSY makes way more money off of merchandise then they do music, but atleast they hit #4 on the top 200 which is the first time theyve gotten there since AJB I belive.
