Ciao, everybody!!!
I must say, kind of a surprise to see a message "You have been invited to join a guild" when you haven't actually applied to anything loverly.
Yes! I just got a part in the school's orchestra piece this winter. They had a piece that called for a symphonic band to play along with them, and instead of dumplings it all into a piano accomp., I'm going to play my pic and a flugelhorn! I gotta transpose the Eb piccolo part to C, though.

I gotta transpose the Eb piccolo part to C, though. Mmm transposing. I tried it once, ended up ripping the paper into tiny peices and burning it.

Yeah I am not creative so I'll just say it. Lovley Dumplings. Transposing is a pain. I hatre it. I'm just glad there are a lot of Bb instruments out there.

I'm not even going to try to transpose the F Horn part. I was lucky and found the Bb one for Flugel. While Eb to C is a pain, F to Bb is rather a nightmare.

I hope thats what i was supposed to say...wait...we do post here first right? sweatdrop i'm insanely tired ^.^;;; had a tough week... gonk
transposing... crying i tried transposing once...and i think i got it wrong...the only thing i really trasposed was the key signature crying then again it still confuses me...
