Sing Shu put her hands up, defensively,"I was only looking at him! Sorry!" She said to the woman. "I didn't mean anything by it," she really didn't want trouble with the strange woman or with Chieftain Sing Ku Young. Her blue eyes filled with panic and her short gray-streaked hair flapped in the breeze.

"What are you working on? Why you?" Sing Shu asked the woman. She was curious about the newcomers to her tribe, when the Chieftain came up.

"You don't want to deal with this girl," he motioned towards Shu, who took a few steps back, and bowed her head. "She's bad news," he told Ka Shu Fa. He turned to Shu,"Run back to your master's, don't cause any more trouble."

Sing Shu looked up at the Chieftain, then at the woman. "She asked me, I didn't do anything to her or her horse," she told him. The Chieftain looked at her, shocked that she had talked back to him.

"Why do you talk back to me?" He asked her.

"Because, I'm not doing anything wrong," Shu said to him, a grin spreading across her face. "I want to help, let me."

Nu Sou had been occupied giving orders to his soldiers when he saw the chieftain go off. He also noted the two girls and the stern talking. "You have to be kidding me," he sighed and made his way over.

"Excuse me, Chief Sing Ku Young, I am sorry for my friend's boldness. I think Fa sees a bit of herself in this girl. Is it okay if they work together? She will be of no bother."

Ku Young seemed mildly indignant, "I heard you welcomed such things into your midst, but I thought it only rumor. I wish it to be clear, though, the Sing tribe, though appreciative of your help, will not work side by side with the tainted ones."

"Sir, it is either work along side them or watch your tribe burn to the ground. I'd much rather you an ally. After this incident, I will keep my mystics away from your people as best I can. For now, though, would you accompany my less mystically inclined troops? Show them the land as well you can." The Ku Young obliged after glaring at the two girls.

Nu Sou looked to Fa, "Just place nice with the girl, all right? No playing rough. Now get to work already."

Fa glared daggers at her, "I was not standing up for anyone." And then she turned to Sou, "If she can't keep up with me, that's her problem. Now, I have work to do." And with that, she went to prepare for construction.

Sing Shu was taken aback when the girl yelled at her. She looked at the guy as he talked to the girl, whom he called Fa. "How did you know I was air?" She asked him.

"Know all?" He mumbled to himself. "She's kept out of public and she's just got their characteristics. Really dominant ones at that." He watched her for a little while. "Well I suppose this is the start of a new friendship." He grinned and gathered together the fighters of the village for intense training.

"My name is Sing Shu, what is your name?" She asked. She looked over at the girl,"I'm better than my master with my abilities," she smiled as she told her. She was proud of herself, and rarely showed it. "I'm also pretty handy with a spear."

"I'm sure I do, but I've never been in a battle, but I'll be up for it," she told Ka Shu Fa. "Just ask if you need any help." Shu went over to Bon-Hwa, to make sure he didn't run away or do anything.
