Foreigners hearing it for the first time compare it to Russian (both are Slavic languages), though I think they're very different (it's like comparing Spanish and Portuguese or German and Dutch).

Lol indeed.
My first language is Slovene, I daresay I'm fluent in English, I can read easily and talk about some basic stuff in German and Croatian, know some useful phrases in French, and some useless phrases and words in Finnish and Japanese. And I can count to ten in Yiddish, Nepal, Albanian, Lithuanian, and two weird Indian languages - the result of a linguistic puzzle I've been solving.
Languages are awesome, but I get depressed everytime I remember how many I'd like to know and realise that's not possible.

you've got me way beat, sometimes i cant spell in english. blames the strange usage of some letters and the way things aren't always spelled how they sound. its not that im stupid because im not its just confusing sometimes
