If Azure ever called him 'Dad' he'd be a dead angel. He let his hand drop when the male didn't take it. "Watch what you say kid. Dyas is in her room reading." With that, he simply walked back into his living room, wanting nothing more of his future son-in-law.

Azure's eyes widened when he noticed Raken's hand dropped. He probably should've shook his hand, but he [and wolfie] had been so stressed out and occupied with thought he hadn't even noticed it until it was too late. "Thanks." Azure said simply as he stood up and began to walk towards Dyas' room. He poked his head inside. "Dyas?" he called out softly.

The male sat down and reopened his book, but his earlier good mood had soured. "Idiot." Raken grumbled, trying to focus on his reading instead of what Azure was probably now saying to Dyas.
She had heard Azure's voice when he called in for her father, and ever since then she had been waiting anxiously. It had been silent for so long...the female nearly jumped out of her skin at her name. The females head snapped to the side, and a beautiful smile instantly graced her face. She set down her book on plantlife to hurry to the doorway. She wanted to know what was going on.

"Mmm, hey there Dyas." Azure smiled warmly as he spread out his arms and reached for her, ready to wrap his arms around her the moment they came in contact "I was wondering if you wanted to spend the day with me, just hanging out or walking around or something." Azure hadn't really thought of how to propose that idea, but oh well. He was relieved that he'd be able to take her out of the cave, away from Raken.

She more then happily moved into his arms, embracing the males warm body against her own. It was always the best feeling in the world. Dyas then quickly nodded to Azure's proposal. She often had dragged him around the forest. The thought that he had something planned was exciting. Or at least, much more so then her book about photosynthesis.

Azure was silent for awhile as he held Dyas close to him, he honestly didn't want to let her go ever, it seemed to dangerous to let her go. After some time though he finally pulled away, sliding his hands down her arms until they were clasping her hands. He was ready to drag her off to his first destination, of course it was going to be no rush. "I thought we'd just walk..." Azure said softly, of course he had a specific destination in mind, but he wasn't going to let her know that.

The female fairly beamed at Azure, delighted by his initiation. She nodded as she gently squeezed his hands within hers. Somehow, she had the feeling today was going to be one she'd always remember. Dyas let her eyes meet Azure's before flicking them to the hallway behind him, asking if they were going to leave.

Azure grinned when he saw that Dyas was pleased. He watched her eyes move to the hallway, he guessed that meant she was ready. He pulled her hands, walking backwards through the door and leading her forward. Though he couldn't walk backwards for forever through the cave, so he eventually released one of her hands, and led her on with his right hand. "You look so beautiful today, Dyas..." Azure blushed, he felt extremely lucky that he such a beautiful woman loved him back, though the real luck was in the fact that her father let him love her.

She moved willingly into the hallway with Azure, feeling the luckiest pae in the whole island. Dyas blushed right along with Azure, but when he let go of her hand she moved forward to embrace him. She tucked her head under his chin and held him tightly. One quick hug, and she moved back again to walk with him. She loved him so much.

Azure was surprised by the hug and wrapped his arms around her before she moved back away. That hug could have lasted longer, he was sad when they had to separate. He would be physically close to her all day if he could, and maybe soon he'd be able to do that. Of course he couldn't just hug her all day long because he had some places to take her. He intertwined the fingers of his hand with hers and then walked side by side with Dyas. "I had to talk to your dad first when I came here, he wasn't so happy about my visit last time..." Azure mentioned as they exited the cave, although he knew that was all going to change soon.

The male snorted softly as they passed, shaking his head. "Understatement of the year."
The female flashed her father a quick unhappy glance before beaming up at Azure. She squeezed his hand encouragingly as they exited the cave. Maybe if she was lucky, he'd tell her what they talked about. They were too far away for her to listen in previously.

Azure bit on his lip nervously when he heard Raken's statement, but he wasn't going to worry about it now. Right now, he was worried how they were going to do the long walk ahead without him mentioning anything marriage related or giving away what he was up to. Out of the cave now, he paused at the entrance looking over his shoulder, taking Dyas away to be with him. Azure wanted to run to their destination, but that might be suspicious so instead he walked leisurely in a the direction of a familiar old river and cave, acting as if he was going nowhere special. He swung their hands back and forth.

Gaurdians. No further conversation about earlier. But, at least she was alone with Azure. And her dad knew about it. Her dad KNEW! And was okay with it! The revelation stunned her before happiness kicked in. If she could have laughed, she would have as the male swung their hands. This was perfect! Dyas settled for a wide grin before moving closer to the male so their shoulders touched. She rested her head ontop of his, bouncing slightly with every step. She was alone with Azure, on a walk, which her father was completely fine with. Was it her birthday?

Azure smiled contently when Dyas rested her head on his shoulder, at least he felt like she was enjoying the walk. He didn't want her to not like this because at the end there was a very important question. "Thank you for showing me your journal" Azure whispered. In fact that journal had provided him most of the inspiration for today. They were now walking alongside a river, Azure began to wonder if Dyas would now know that they were near her secret spot, but he still acted like it was just a walk.

She shook her head at the thanks, signifying that it was no problem. She wanted to show him the journal, since she couldn't always show him her innermost thoughts. Born mute, she had that obstacle she still couldn't overcome, but she had never let it stop her from finding her own happiness. And a male who could understand her without the words. In the back of her mind, she picked up the familiar surroundings though thought little of it. Wasn't like Azure could have remembered the way from that time so very long ago.
