: biggrin eity looks up, seeing the strange energy figure being dragged along by the odd tentacle still on his left wrist. It is then that he feels a strange sensation, but he cannot place it immediately. Then again, he doesn't have time to sit and think about it, as two more of those orbs are coming from one side, and twelve from the other.
He disappears once again at the last moment, though without the utilization of his instantaneous movement technique. In his current demonic form, over short distances, he can pretty much move instantaneously anyway. However, Shunkido gives him much better accuracy and manueverability. The fourteen orbs hit either nothing or themselves, Deity some fifty feet away, still with that tendril attached. He takes this quick moment to realize what is occurring. That odd sensation is that of his power being drained.
Deity simply smiles and looks at the Crimson Mists, before the expression fades and he focuses on the two light beings and the fourteen orbs. Trying to drain energy from this mystic creature is a hopeless endeavor. His energy and stamina are infinitely supplied, so these strange things could drain him for thousands and thousands of years, and he'd be no weaker. Once his opponent grows stronger than he is, that in fact opens an oppurtunity to become even more powerful. He finally decides to speak of this before making his next move.::
...if draining Deity is your only strategy, you'll be disappointed...
::With that said, his right hand is suddenly charged with a massive amount of energy, and he bends down, rearing that arm behind him as he lines up the fourteen spheres and the two light beings in his line of fire. With a single swing, he waves his palm upward in a wide arch until it reaches his left shoulder.
In the span of less than a hundred-millionth of a millisecond, a gargantuan wave of over three hundred high-power kiai explode outward in a violent arch toward all of his targets. Each of the kiai are over four times as powerful as the single one he threw at the Avatar earlier, and now there are three hundred of them. The ground itself is torn apart even more at the force of these attacks, creating a spectacular cloud of dirt and dust in the atmosphere, masking Deity from sight, though unintentionally.::

The fourteen orbs do indeed collide, but instead of exploding or nullifying one another, they begin to combine, flowing as pure light as they race around a single point with zero cohession. The Avatar's outer shell would once again be obliterated, but the light would not expand outward in any random fassion, instead pulling along the link in an attempt to wrap around and further accelerate the growing drain.
Out from the Crimson Mists a second Avatar would issue forth, two orbs on either side, the lot of them arcing high to remain above the fight for the time being. A third began to form, along with two more orbs. The focus of the Rubies began to shift, the energy arcing between them and out from the storage rubies, growing and forming into a single column. This column would be a means to an end, a very specific one at that. The light and energy coursed around the cloud once at the speed of...well...light before bursting out through the giant mouth of Mindblaze, aimed directly at Fierce. It wasn't an orbital bombardment, but it'd do well enough.

As with before, the devil is still being drained of energy, but no change is effident in his power. It replenishes so quickly that any drop is so insignificant as to be unnoticable. Deity lifts from the ground in flight once more, safely out of reach of the first being of light and the collecting fourteen orbs. It is then that an actual attack is released - or so it seems - from the giant red mist. This brings an apathetic puckering of the lips to Deity's face. He was getting bored for a while, without any actual battle occuring thus far.
A large column of what appears to be light energy races out towards the devil, almost like a laser would. In a straight line. Waiting until the beam is within ten meters, Fierce waves his left hand this time, initiating another technique. Exploding around him spherical field of blood crimson ki, what appears to be electricity crackling around it. The force of the explosion - while impressive at over 20 megatons <> - is only a side effect and not intentional. The sphere is about sixteen feet in radius on all sides, closing Deity inside it. The beam of energy sent by the opponent collides with the shield with unknown results, aside from the fact that it remains outside of it. Inside this sphere Deity will remain, until his boredom lures him into striking range once more.

Unless the shield could block out light, Deity would find himself in a dilly of a pickle. The strength would be slightly diminished, but by far the core of the beams strength was in the light itself. If it could block out simple focused light, then the darkness around Diety would give Mindblaze little advantage, or more likely none at all. The swirling mass of light composed of the 14 orbs seemed to be growing smaller, as if pulling in on itself, even as the two orbs from above and two more from the cloud charged to join with it.
The Avatar flew straight for the shield, aiming to lose cohession and hopefully pass through, but he would halt if the beam did not continue through, and his efforts would focus on slamming against the barrier instead of trying to give Deity the gift of partially solid light based foot to the face.

< whee ...oh well. That's an oops on Deity's part...>>
::Not expecting the beam to pass straight through the shield, which is made to withstand pureply physical or energy-based techniques, the core section of the beam gets through, and Deity drops the barrier intentionally, as it doesn't have much reason to stay up. The beam slams into his chest, but unless it just stands there and presses against him, he hardly flinches. He really doesn't show any damage from the attack, aside from bending over slightly and backing up a few feet. In the scenario that the beam does try to continue forward, Deity'll sidestep and let it continue by.
The same situation unfolds when he comes into contact with the kick from the being of light. Seeing as it's made mostly of light, trying to combat it doesn't seem very useful. The attacks lack much punch behind them, so Fierce is unconcerned again. Raising an eyebrow at the collecting orbs off in the distance, he is curious as to what their purpose is. Trying to drain his energy grows tiresome, but he'll play along as long as he needs to in order to lure out something worthy of a fight.::
