Turning to look at him over her shoulder the beads that held her braids together click, "Why have you come here? I'm sure you didn't seek me out without a reason of some sort."

Kutai lowered his head for a moment, as if contemplating something. Truth be told, he was - how to word what he was there for.
After a short silence, he raised his head back up and looked at Fuega. Kutai decided that the truth was best, and as simple as it could be.
"Well, you are right. The reason is that I want to help you. I still do..and I'll do whatever it takes to do it."

"What ever?" she gave a twisted grin. Getting up Fuega stalked forward, "Even if you end up hurt?"

Kutai smiled and put his paw on his neck, where the deep bite wound was. "I've already proven that, haven't I? Isn't this enough proof?" He said, moving his paw so she could see the wound.

Kutai couldn't help himself at that comment. It was too open to not take it. "Like a fox." he said with a grin, looking at Fuega when he could.

She blinked at him a little confused, "You're not scared of me at all now. Are you....... What changed. In the past you would have been bitter at seeing me..." Fue said as she finally came back around, her green eyes staring holes into him.

Kutai stood and stepped forth slowly, his red eyes staring deep into Fuega's green eyes. "I didn't understand you. I was bitter because I did not see what you were, and when you acted out towards me that was how I reacted. Now I understand you, and I feel drawn to you. I want to alleviate your pain."

It felt like her heart stopped and she felt like it was hard to breath. The feeling startled her, forcing Fuega to scuttle back grasping her chest and gasping.

Kutai was taken by surprise by her actions, and he leaped back. He was still looking deep into her green eyes, though he did not say anything,

Cuddling down into a small ball, "What is this? This...this feeling...." she began to growl annoyed with not knowing.

Kutai stepped forward only once, concern in his eyes. Had she finally begun to feel compassion, or caring, or even the faintest remnants of love? If that was so...then he was breaking through.
"Explain the feeling...what does it feel like? Do you feel your heart become heavy, or your body light?"

She groaned uncomfortable with the feeling of an emotion she never had before, "My heart. It feels heavy. It's like I can't breath. I"m being smothered....."

She glared at him, "You know damn well what I am..... what are you trying to get at." With deep breaths she was able to sit herself up again, "By the flame if this is what it is to care for someone I don't want it...."
