It would be a short visit to the messhall, a couple bowls a cereal and that was all the time Lucifer wanted to bother spending in there, save for a sideways glare thrown at the kitchen entrance.
Don't think the score is settled, chef. Oh no, just wait, when your guard is down, that's when I'll strike.
His tail twitched, arms crossed, a glance shot over his shoulder at Noel. Hmmm, free day, how to spend it. One might have thought he could ask Noel what he wanted to do, but oh no, no way. Knowing Noel, he would suggest they curl up somewhere and snuggle, or worse, something involving him and dress-up. And that was most definitely NOT going to happen, HELL NO! He'd walk around naked first! Or not.
Or...oh yes, there were the squirrels he had asked Laz3r to bribe, it was time they used that plan, kekekekeke...
"I think we should do something to safeguard the beaver's cabin, I wouldn't want anything to happen to you during the night when I can't protect you. We can get the squirrels to help us."

The safe guarding of his cabin peaked his interest. Yeah, the woods had some terrible creatures of evil that plenty of cabins needed safe guarding from. God forbid something bad happened to the beavers because they weren't protected. Oh god, it would be HORRIBLE if something happened to his team mates."
"Good idea. " Noel nodded. Lucifer knew best after all. He was part Jesus AND Starwars for christ sakes.
"What do you need me to do Je.... Lucifer?" A nervous laugh followed. He hadn't almost called Lucifer Jesus in a while. For some unknown reason Lucifer hated it. What a great modest guy. That Jesus, boy oh mighty.
Noel had NO idea what he was really about to do. Nope, he smiled his handsome charming (stupid) grin and just listened like a good little minion.

Lucifer shot a glare at Noel, a hint of a growl touching the corner of his maw. Oh don't you DARE start that again. You start that and I swear I will just leave you here and there will be NO MORE TAIL SNUGGLES FOR YOU!
"I need you to keep watch for any agents of the demon deer, i'll deal with the squirrels."
And stop calling me Jesus you idiot! Facepaw!
"Laz3r!"
Because the shark was -always- a few yards away.
"Did you talk to the squirrels?"
Heh heh, oh yes, they're ready and waiting.

The snarl really had not affected the dim witted boy. He had just kept on smiling and ... well being Noel. It seemed almost NOTHING got this boys attention.
Noel tilted his head, so the shark HAD been able to recruit some new followers. Good, all was good. The plans, whatever they might be, were falling into place. His fellow campers were safe. Thanks to Lucifer and him and the Shark, Noel would know his team mates would be A-Okay.
"Sooo... What is the plan?" Some how in the sort period of time the squirrels and LAz3r returned... Noel had found him self ATTACHED to Lucifers tail. He was getting pretty quick at these tail snuggings.

Damn Noel was fast...and oblivious. Lucifer had barely had time to blink before the little fanboy had latched onto his tail. What was it about his tail anyway? Oh well, it wasn't like he could object, NOT THAT HE WAS GOING TO ADMIT THAT HE LIKED IT!
"We need acorns, lots of acorns, and crunchberries."
Kekekeke, because a crunchberry coated acorn? There was NO WAY a squirrel could resist that. Scatter them in the beavers cabin and boom, instant rabid squirrel infestation. Kekekekeke....They'd be dealing with the little rodents for days, if not for the remainder of camp.
"Let's go."
Time to gather supplies. He supposed Noel would be spending the night with him again tonight. Not that he was keen for a repeat of that morning, but he was even less inclined to leave Noel at the mercy of rabid squirrels.

Noel had NO idea what Lucifer really had in store. No, what he believed was that the squirrel folk would protect the beavers rather then pester. The Brit was oblivious. Totally and utterly like he normally was about everything with Lucifer.
His team mates were in for a surprise. And not a good one like Noel thought.
The oblivious little brit just hung happily from Lucifers tail. So soft, so warm, so nice, and apparently SO STRONG.
"Off we go ~" The boy chimed, "For the sake of protecting the beavers from the French...... I mean the demon deer." He chuckled and hugged tighter as the two went.
