"Forest of Forgotten?" Ivy echoed. "Pretty name. Since when do you like exploring? I thought your only hobby was conquering." She lay on the ground on her stomach, kicking her legs in the air idly. Hilt came over and lay next to her. She petted his head softly, causing him to purr quietly. Ivy looked at the woman. She'd never met her before, which was odd. Ivy had thought that she'd known all of Bob's underlings.

Kaiya rolled her eyes. "Kaiya. You hired me, remember? Like, a month or three ago," she replied. "Wanna hear what I have to say or not?" she demanded irritably.

"I've always liked exsploring. You know that. These last few months have just changed a few things..." He said with a sigh. He then looked back at the girl.
"I don't remember hiring you. And if I did, you would know that you need an announcement, and you need to bow. The only one I don't care for that is a select few." He said with a wink to Ivy and Hilt.
"And personally at the moment when I'm trying to enjoy myself I don't particuarly care for what you have to say. Important or not. But I'm feeling good today, and giving. I'll hear what you have to say Kaiya." Bob said with a smile. Slightly annoyed that his afternoon had been interupted. And yet still able to debat what he would do with the girl if she decided to get 'upity'.

Kaiya rolled her eyes again. "I explained to you," she said, "that I'm not your servant or slave. If you don't wan to live with that, then I'll leave now." She stood with a hand on her hip, waiting, her daggers within easy reach.

Ivy sighed. "Yuo're silly," she told the woman. "And you should leave now." She looked at Bob. "Don't kill her, please. Not with me here." Ivy looked back at the woman. "I have this feeling that I wouldn't like absorbing her."

Kaiya stared at the girl, curious as to what she meant. However, she kept her mouth shut and waited.

Cryus heard other voices as her curiousity got the better of her. She crept towrds the people and noticed Kiaya. She didn't knw what as going on but her feet suddenly went numb. She sighed. Not eating once again had gotten the best of her. She had snuck Cat's food under the talbe and now was seriously in trouble. She couldn't help that she was patheticly super picky. Also something else went terribly wrong. Now that she couldn't move, her stomach growled....loudly. She was sure to get caught. Feeling helpless she just laid there under the shrubs as her stomach continued to growl. She was luckly in a full fox form, so perhaps they wouldn't guess she was intellegent.

Hilt's ears pricked forward. "Something's out there," he remarked, standing up and stalking toward the noise he'd heard. He sniffed the air. "Smells like fox. Weird fox." He sniffed again. "I've smelled this type of scent before, but I can't remember where...."

"Quit the babbling, Hilt, and go find it, already," Ivy said lazily, rolling onto her back, heedless of leaves getting in her hair and clothes. "Whatever it is, it won't live long." She sat up. "What are you waiting for?"

"Going, going," Hilt grumbled, stalking out of the clearing. He ran into a fox crouching nearby. "Are you the source of the smell, little fox?" he asked, looking down at it. He sniffed it. "Must be. Come 'ere," he said, trying to grab it in his mouth.

"Either say what you came to say or leave." Bob said clearly bored with the girl.
Then he looked towards where Hilt had gone.
"Hilt let it be." He finally called out. "Or i really will turn you to something else..."

Hilt snorted. "You got off lucky, fox," he hissed, turning around.

"I thought I told you not to threaten him!" Ivy exclaimed. "Geez, is your memory really that short?"

Kaiya looked at the bickering pair and Bob. She rolled her eyes. Again. "There's a wind witch in the town over there," she said, pointing. "She seems to be rather powerful. And she's got a friend with her, too. I don't know about the others in the inn they worked at, though. You can find that out yourself, right?" She smirked and walked away, back to the city. "There's gotta be someone who'll give me work," she murmured to herself.

She began to shiver as she could feel her feet again. She sparng up and jumped on the cat's head and ran down his back. She could of gotten away if she didn't trip. She just liad there shivering. She tryed to heal herself but it wasn't working.

Seeing what happened, Bob got up angerly. Power almost flowing off of him. "Damn it cat! I told you to leave the fox alone!" he snarled. His mood suddenly seriously altered.
Steping down, he walked towards the fox, gently picking it up in his arms. Trying despratly not to startle it. "Shh little one... It will be alright..." He said quietly, letting a healing power flow off of him into the little fox's body. Once he was sure it was healed, he put it down, and turned to face the others.
"And what makes you think that i'm interested in some 'wind witch'?" he asked flexing his fingers. "And what is so important about these people at this Inn that I would want to go after them?" He asked looking into Kaiya's eyes with part of his power going off into them. Something that makes most people look away at the least. Running in fear at the most.

Hilt growled at the fox. "Damn rodent," he snarled.

"Hilt! Get back here!" Ivy snapped.

"I'll come back for you, sometime," Hilt told the fox. "You can be sure of that." He turned and loped back to Ivy, tackling her as she laughed and fell back. "Silly! Get off!" She shoved him away and said sternly, "You leave that fox alone, now. I never want you trying to get near it again!"

Hilt replied, "Maybe."

"What does that mean?"

"You'll see."

((Kaiya left already. And Hilt never touched the fox. n.n"))

Bob then turned for a moment looking at the cat. A sort of power or fire buring in his eyes. "I mean it Hilt. Leave the fox alone!" He said almost calmly. Then turning back to the bothersome girl in front of him.

She began to calm down as her hunger went away. She was surprised since she could feel his heart was evil. She couldn't help it if her mind told her he was safe. She scratched hr ear and decided to act dumb for a while to see what this man was up to. She tail swished as she sat and watched.

Bob looked at the little fox out of the corner of his eye. Suddenly with that he calmed down, his power not showing again. "Well aren't you a brave little thing..." he muttered to the fox.
He then looked at Ivy and Hilt. "So what do you think?" He asked. "Why would that girl come to us about that?" He asked slightly amused once again by it all.

Hilt whispered to Ivy, "He really thinks he can scare me?" He snorted softly.

"If he does, I'll probably kill myself," Ivy whispered back, wacthing Bob warily. His temper wasn't particularly well-controlled, she'd found.

She answered his question, "Because she doesn't know you so well. She doesn't know that you don't much care about most magic-wielders. Though it may be worth checking out. I've heard wind witches are useful. Not as useful as weather witches," she continued, "but useful all the same."

Hilt just stared at the fox. "There's something not right about it," he murmured under his breath. "Something...."
