"There!," she said as she whizzed down towards a lava flow. Making a quick turn just before she hit the flaming river she came down on solid rock. It jutted out from the side of the lava colored surface and had enough flat room to run across it. The view of the sea from here was spectacular. It stretched out for miles glittering turquoise. "I come up here to think occasionally," she said her fiery strips glowing in reflection of the lava. The seemed to flicker as though they were part of the magma.

Starchaser let the air out from under hsi wings and let his large body cirul carefully down, landing on his hind legs next to her. "Hum.... A little warm on the feet.' He leans back letting his tail ancor himself down and folding his wings. "But it is an intresting view, one I've not seen before."

"Tell me. First time you met me. What did you think of me?" she said mysteriously. She cleaned her wings against a a lava rock every once in awhile looking at him expectantly. Sh wandered over and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.

"Well, As i recall, you were hot. and then you wandered over when I was drinking tea. In fact it wasn't that long ago as i recall." he straitened and looked down at her, with a little smile. "In fact it seems to be getting hot again."

She smiled at his response, "Hot eh? Why thank you. You are quite attractive yourself. That's why I wandered over to you in the first place." She swished her tail, "I think it might be getting hot again." She winked.

"Attractive is one I have not heard, scary, maybe." he chuckles, and smiles at her. he servayed the island looking for something small to take back with them, and perhaps to give to her. Up on another part of the island he spotted obsidian. a perfict back rock that matched her spot. If he could just find a good peice, that wasn't pernimently stuck as part of the valcano. "Perhaps it is. perhaps it is time to cool down?"

"Scary? Why do others find you scary? You are so beautiful, I don't see how anyone could find you scary," she nodded, "I guess I'm the first painter to ever tell you that." She followed him on the search for the obsidian. "Yes lets head back to the island. Want to stop by my home?"

He walked a bit further, and then found what he was looking for, a fist sized rock. "And what exactly would we be doing there?" he tossed her a teasing glance over his shoulder and then bent down to pick up the rock in his jaws.

"Whatever you'd like," she winked and leaped into the air. She Circled a few times to makes sure he was keeping up with her before heading back to the island. She began to head in the direction of Merdrac cove.

Star chaser followed lazyly behind her, watching her long tail flow in the wind. He was quiet, or rather muffled because of the large stone in his mouth. Not that he minded, not talking was easier then getting mixed up in words. He noticed the sun was getting late, but it shined across the ocean and reflected onto Eclips's scales and jewlery.

She landed on a cliffside surrounding Merdrac cove. She landed gently on the ground and wrapped her tail around her legs. "It's a great view from here isn't it?" she winked at him again, "I've been having a good time." She padded over to him and gave him a small peck.

Starchaser looked at her and then around at the quiet cove. He set the rock down and put a hind paw on it. "You kiss like a human." He chuckles. 'So is this your home? It has a good view of the ocean."

"Yes this is my home, I don't really use a cave so I pretty much stand up here," she said pacing a little, "You say I kiss like a a human? That's definately one I've never heard."

he chuckles. "have you never seen humans kiss?" He eyed her down careful to keep the rock in his paws.

"No and I don't choose to, I have pretty much nothing to do with humans. But is it a compliment that I kiss like one?" She sat down and wrapped her tail around her heels. She arched her necking making her look somewhat fierce. She stared out at the setting sun over the water and smiled, "It really is the best view on earth. What do you plan to do with the obsidian?"
