Maverick walked in, full of swagger. It seemed to these people that this is what they were like. Maverick cracked his knuckles and they popped loud. He looked at the man known as Cassus.

Cassus looked upon the man in front of him and he looked him up and down with his horrid yellow eyes.
"Thank you Xavier, now you boy, what is it you wish?"

There was no point in telling him his life story. "Cassus, I wish to follow you." Following some one else was not his thing but Maverick felt like he could manage it for some time.

Xavier nodded, and moved back into the shadows, cackling softly as he left the castle on his next assignment.

Cassus chuckled to himself and waved off the man.
"Very well, take one of the rooms and tomorrow we will speak again."

Maverick then walked off from the area and headed to the nearest room.

Cassus was once again at his throne and this time Leon was no where to be found.
"Xavier, you have a new mission. Go to the theives HQ and find out anything you can about Reks and the man Quin. I have already dispatched Leon, he will be in the shadows as your guard in case things do not turn out as I would like."Cassus' voice echoed throughout the whole mansion. Normally one wouldn't do this, but Cassus was not afraid of people knowing his plans, especially in his own mansion.

A sleepless night was all the Maverick could achieve. He was fine with it. He stepped out in to the throne room with a face void of any emotions, it did depict sorrow however. He took a quick glance at Cassus and waited for any thing he had to say.

Cassus looked to Maverick and looked him up and down again.
"Quite and interesting specimen you are. If you are up to it, I may have a job for you."Cassus called over a servant girl and she began to massage his back.

Cassus saw him staring and he chuckled for a moment before speaking.
"You have full acess to the servant women, I forgot to mention that earlier. But the mission, ah yes. First let me start by telling you something very important. There is a man in the Red Cross named Damian Richards, he is not to be harmed or killed by you or anyone else. If he is that will hurt my chances of absolute power, and yours. For anyone who serves under me when I have what I seek will be more powerful then they could ever dream of."Cassus clenched his fist and a Dark Aura seemed to form around him and then dissapate as he calmed down.
"But I digress, your mission is to find out anything you can about a man named Dr. Avarice, or simply Avarice. He is an Alpha so be very careful. If you do indeed find him. Tell him and anyone associated with him to come to my castle. Do not be rude to them, for it may cost you your life. Leon will be forever in the shadows, should it come to battle he will come to your aid, while with us you are never alone. Now go, I would suggest starting your search in Haven, I'm sure there's a portal around here somewhere."

" i would open a portal for him." Zoey offered, her voice soft.. yet easily heard. she was standing near a beautifully crafted mirror, an object she could summon or dismiss at will. her hands folded she bowed her head respectfully, every movement graceful. " If it is what My lord wishes."

Maverick nodded and looked at the woman who mentioned a portal. He walked over to her and then said. "Ok so this portal when will you open it?"

" When you need it, of course." she smiled kindly, her hand brushing the mirror. it rippled under her touch, stilling when she lifted her hand away. tilting her head she smiled again, her fangs safely retracted as she asked. " i am Zoey.. who are you?"
