"Thank you,Guster! I believe we haven't met cordially. I'm Sean Spencer. And this is my assistant,Betsy Guster." Cloud outstretched his hand to the detective. He looked at Cloud strangely and didn't take the hand. "Carlton Lassiter. And by the way,I'm not believing this little act of yours,so you better step away from MY case." He turned back to look more at the body.

nym started talking rather quickly "Well Mr.Lassiter Sean can be a great help to solving the case." nym paused "Give him a chance and YOU will catch your guy." best to make him think we are just helping then we can solve it. nym thought.

"Sounds great! Though I was planning to spend our treasure earnings today,I guess we could get some extra money if we solve this case." Cloud was skipping along merrily towards the alleyway like a little boy hopping toward a dangerous forest.

nym just rolled with the idea of solving the case, having no idea what would happen and hoping maybe they could catch this guy and now make fun of Lassider in the proses. "Okay lets go catch us a murderer!"

Cloud examined the several blood marks on the wall and on the ground. One trail led to a trashcan. Cloud opened it up to find a bloody paper on top of the pile of trash. It showed a picture of the man,his bio and information about him. "I'm on the verge of throwing up. Read this for me." Cloud handed Nym the letter and barfed in the trash can.

nym wiped off some blood then read the paper "it says this guy is an inn keeper right outside of town." nym looked up from the paper "Wow? there was an inn?" she went back to reading "This guy is in his late thirties and has lived around the town most of his life. Not to bad of a person huh? But wait it says he left town a while back for personal reasons, whatever that may be it's not very descriptive of the trip. Seems his inn isn't doing so well either, not on top of health rules and such, that he may be shut down even." nym looked at the photo of a large burly lumberjack looking guy with brown beard and all, then showed the photo to Cloud, "and this is the guy." nym said handing him the photo.

nym sighed knowing that it was coming. "ok, lets go check out the inn." nym said shuddering at the idea of how a place breaking health rules would look.

Cloud started for the bar. He noticed that Lassiter was gone and all the civilians were back to normal,sort of. "I only have one rule:no alcohol for us. Can't risk screwing this up on a count of buzzing."

nym nodded "ok no alcohol. Now let's go to the disgusting inn." nym looked at the inn, the place looked old and rotting, a shutter seemed to be falling off. nym opened the door and entered. Light shown on to the dusty surfaces of the floor and check in desk. a dinning area could be seen to the right and a stair case to the second level to the left. No one could be seen at the desk. But there was a small silver bell.
