It seemed as though her words were spat out. Uzuri lowered her eyes. Of course. She wasn't, after all, her natural kin. Returning her gaze to Adeto, she smiled. "It's nice to meet you, too." she tried to avoid looking at Janja. She almost felt ashamed of herself, for having the life she did, and not being able to keep a proper family.
"So, you're really willing to be the father of a 'pup' like me?" she knew her mood was sinking. Every time she started thinking of how horrible she must look to those around her, she lost her happiness all together. "A family hunt....." she closed her eyes. It sounded wonderful. "That would be amazing. If it's okay...." she turned to her mother, not wanting to intrude on a private evening.

Janja gave a small smile to Adeto before frowning. She didn't mean to make her pup feel bad. “You're still family, Uzuri. You're my pup!” She walked over to nuzzle her blue child. She felt horrible, wondering if she was really the one that should have found the pup – she questioned the Gods. She wouldn't change if for the world though. She loved the pretty blue-eyed pup.
Che chuckled. “A family hunt would be great...” After all, she was still hungry now that her stomach calmed down a bit

The male paused for a moment before going and nuzzling the young dog too. "And I would be happy to father you..." He said lowly, nuzzling behind her ear. "I would love having such a lovely daughter." He looked up at the vulpix with a smile. "Yes... a family hunt then. Our first offical family hunt."

Uzuri repeated the word over and over in her head. Father. Father. Father. Her own father was a piece of dirt, and shouldn't even be alive. Not after what he's done. So this male, this blue male that had captured her new mother's heart, was perfect.
"So then, let's go?" She had to admit, she had never hunted in a family group, so it sounded exciting. Having the ability to rely on others in such a situation was a new and welcome experience.

Janja gave a laugh and stood to walk off. “Well, there should be something around here...” Large herds usually didn't pass through the tiny lake, probably going to the lake Adeto guarded instead. Usually the lone wandering prey-beast, but it was enough to have a hunt daily.
She put her nose to the air to sniff out anything that would be close by.
