"Oh, I'm not worried about the lightning," she said lightly. She loved storms. They made the world beautiful when it stopped and it was always soothing against her skin as she walked. Her nose twitched slightly and she smiled as a drop fell upon it, rolling from the leaves and the rain began to wash the blood from her fur.
"It's so beautiful," She commented almost airly, letting a dainty paw out into the heavier rain.

Ary watched as she stuck her paw out into the rain, "So I'm guessing that you like the rain." For him that was odd since most females that he had met would prefer to stay under shelter during bad storms granted he wasn't with many females during bad storms.
He sort of zoned out as he watched the steady down pore with the occasional flash of lightning. Ary sneezed when a stray drop fell off of one the tree leaves and landed right on his muzzle. He realized then that he wasn't staying as dry as he wanted to since quite a bit of the rain was coming through the leave cover to land on him and the green Leopardess. His brown fur was getting darker and darker as the water soaked into his skin and slicked it down. Trying to prevent getting to wet Ary stood up and stepped to the side away from the leopardess. Hoping he was far enough away he started to shake himself out.
He did get most of the water out. As well as sticking his fur on end making him look like a walking pin cushion. Grumbling to himself he came back to where he was originally siting and layed back down. "Too much water makes me look like a drowned meerkat." he said trying to joke around.

"Yes, quite" the small female said, slightly sheepish. She shifted, flowers rippling across her frame. Her fur lay flat with the water dripping into her fur, and it only made her look further like a lush meadow with fresh due drops. She giggled with a drop that landed on her nose.
Turning her gaze to the lion, she watched him move away from her. With a tilt of her head and confusion in her eyes, she wondered what he was doing, but was answered a moment later when he shook away the water.
Too much water makes me look like a drowned meerkat.
Maua nearly doubled over with laughter, a giggling melody that rang through the rain, but it amused her nonetheless, agreeing through her giggles.
Slowly, she calme her giggles and looked at the dark lion with amusment twinkling in her eyes.

Ary was not offended when the leopardess started to laugh at him, that was the whole point of what he said even if he didn't mean to look like a pin cushion. He smiled back at her before looking back at the storm, it wasn't letting up and even seemed to get worse. "Even with liking the rain I wouldn't suggest going out tonight." He looked back at the female, he was debating about asking her something but he didn't want to sound fresh so after a moment of thought he offered, "Your welcome to spend the night if you want."

Maua gave a small nod, bowing her head. "I supposed I shall," she answered, she turned her gaze back to the tree, wishing she could climb back up to sleep.
With a small shrug, the floral female lowered her body to the soft earth and closed her eyes, poised for sleep.
It didn't take her long to slip into slumber, body rising and falling with even breaths.
