 "Alright. See you whenever."Shadow said as Aka left. He then heard a slash. Where did that splash come from.He thought as he began to had to where he heard the splash. Few moment later he reached the pool and seen a mermaid. A mermaid?He thought as he leaped on top of the fence. When he landed on the fence it barely made a sound."Hi there, did you just arrive here?"He asked as stood on the fence.

Nissa smiled when Shadow asked her who she was. "You. Thanks for carrying me to my dorm. You probably don't recognize me. I'm Nissa. What's your name?" she asked him, swimming up to the edge and placing her head in her arms on the concrete. She looked up at him and smiled, entertained with the fact that he didn't know who she was in this form. Huh.... This place is great! I could spend my whole life in this pool.... Damn.... That would be awesome. Too bad that this is school and I have to work. There always is a catch. she thought sadly.

"Oh..your welcome. My name is Shadow."Shadow said as he hoped off the fence into the pool area."you mine if i join you?"He asked as he walked to the edge of the pool.

Nissa looked at Shadow as he stood at the water's edge. "No. I don't mind at all. This isn't my place either. I really have no say." she told him. Wow. At last somebody who doesn't call me a freak......... I've waited so long. Finally. she thought, practically glowing. Her tail flicked and she dove underwater, hitting her head on the bottom though. "Ouch. Maybe I should watch out next time." she said, bubbles floated up from her mouth as she spoke.

Shadow hoped into the pool."Its been forever sense i been in a pool."He said when his head come out of the water. He then dived down and swam to Nissa. When he got next to Nissa and tickled her sides some. After that he had to swim to the surface to get air.

Nissa giggled when Shadow tickled her, for she was easy to make laugh. She swam up to the top and stared at him. "Really? How long since you've last been in a pool. Well, besides this one." she asked him, surprised at her own curiosity.

"Other then this one. Its been about a year before i got into this one"Shadow said as he got himself to float on his back. "i bet you got in a pool whenever you got the chance to."He said as he floated on his back.

 Aka leap up the stairs leading to her dorm room. She opened the door to her room and stepped in. She dropped her bags and grabbed two knives that were hidden in her boots. She spun them around ,expertly, in her hand. and slammed the door shut on her way back outside. Aka sighed and jumped down all the stairs without taking a step. She landed gracefully,without a sound,at the bottom.

Nissa frowned when she heard Shadow's story. "That must've been horrible. No, I do NOT get the chance to get in a pool very often. My family doesn't own one. That's why I was sent here. Well, mostly the reason..... But you don't need to hear my whole life story." she said to him, her eyes glistened with the reflection of the sun off the water, for the roof was made of clear glass.

Nissa stuck her tongue out at him. "Well, ha! I already mastered my power. I can turn invisble whenever I want. It doesn't happen randomly anymore. In fact I haven't turned invible in over two weeks. How's that for control?" she gloated. Maybe I'm being a brat now.... I dont' know....

Nissa looked down and sighed. "Sorry if I was acting, uh, stuck up. It ujust came out. Maybe I should learn to control my mouth first." she swam to the edge also and jumped out and sprawled out on the ground to dry off. Dang... I just realized this, but nobody's called me in
over a month. I feel unloved now... Not even my old friends call me. I guess they aren't really friends. she thought to herself, a tear forming in the corner of her eye. She quickly wiped it away with her finger and rested her head in her hands and closed her eyes.

Nissa opened her eyes when Shadow started talking. She shook her head. "No. Nothing, really." she told him, closing her eyes once more as the last drops of water disappered. She sighed, got up and brushed the dirt, if any, off herself. She stretched her arms up into the air and wiggled her toes, lucky to have them.
