Hm.. I might have a solution to the lack of members.. Instead of it being an invite only guild, it would be an open one. But, when they fill out the form for age and such, at the end they should fill out a Roleplay example, thus giving us a good idea of how literate they are. Of course, if its chatspeak, NO. If its under like 5 sentences, NO. (In my mind..) If they meet the standards for your liking, we could accept them. If they happened to copy and paste a post of someone elses post from another RP, we'd be able to tell after the person started posting in the other RPs.
As for people joining the RPs, I suggest that the members check out the subforums for roleplay's that may catch their attention. IN the series one, check for familiar titles. C: Wow, first emote I've used in this whole thing. xD
Anyways, thats all I have, since I myself haven't really been very active.. I promise to join some of the roleplays here soon.

Well, the system is already set up so that there is a form for those who would like to join the guild to fill out and request. It is located on the home page of the guild.
You know, the page none of the members look at because all the good stuff is inside the guild...
The problem with membership numbers is that there are many guilds out there who claim to be able to do the same thing we here at Liteartha Baile do. So, when they see this guild, they say 'oh, just another Lit. guild'.
It's sad but true. Yet, the system is not flawed. Out of the twenty members here, a five to six of them sent an acutal request to join the guild.
So yes, things seem slow right now. I am always on the look out in other guilds and in the forums to invite other literate gaians. Always.
But please, if you, or anyone here, has friends who you think would be a benifit to this guild, let them know, let me know. They can list you as a reference when they fill out the request! It's very simple.

I think this was already pretty much mentioned on the first page but... An advertisement forum for the Rps people make.
Like a short summary of an Rp that was made and a touch of what the rules are, then a link to the actual Rp. Like a menu of sorts.

Quote: xC o l o r M e G r e yx Rather random considering what the previous discussion was, but it's a suggestion so whatever.
We have some good RPs starting up [I'm in two in the Series Role Play] but none of them are open because not very many peopel are joining, which is an issue.
In order to get a better guild we need active members. D=
So .. I think in the main forum [The place where this is] we should have a Role Play notice-thing. Where you can post a description of your Role Play and a link to it, so others can see what they're missing out on and join. Aknowledged! Hehe. ( I don't know why Spaniard wants to make things so complicated and formal. What a downer, oh well :] ) Motion approved! -slams down gavel- I think we've been meaning to put one up but we were just waiting for someone to point it out. That way we would know if it would be used. So here goes! I'll make it in the next few minutes! -jumps and giggles-

I'm not a million percent sure of where I should post a certain roleplay. It's based on a play by Neil Simon, called Rumors. Where should I put it up at?

Unfortunatly, I'm am not informed enough on the play you speak of to give you a fair answer. Though, if you are basing it on something, like a play, then you might want to try the Series Based sub-forum.
And even if it turns out that it doesn't belong there, then the sub-forum moderator will simply move it to the correct sub-forum. smile Aren't they so kind?

gaia_nitemareleft gaia_nitemareright I'd like to try starting a roleplay. However, it doesn't really fit into any of the subforums currently available. I read earlier that we could purchase/maintain our own subforums. More info, please?

Question: Miss Emni Rose gaia_nitemareleft gaia_nitemareright I'd like to try starting a roleplay. However, it doesn't really fit into any of the subforums currently available. I read earlier that we could purchase/maintain our own subforums. More info, please? Answer: No problem!
Yes, members can purchase their own sub forums. They can call it and make it whatever they wish it to be. If you'd like to make a role play with several threads, this may be the better option for you.
On another note, if you just want a place that you can call your own without all the guild maintnece, you can do this as well.
To purchase a sub forum, a member is asked to request a trade to me in the amount of 3000g. The guild fee to create a new subforum is 2500g and we use the other 500g for fundraising and give aways such as the Literate Lottery.
In the sub forum, you can post whatever you like, and neither I or the Crew can change it. If you'd like to make something a Sticky or an Announcement, all you would have to do is let us know.
All sub forums have a moderator. In your own sub forum, there is no moderator, but I personally will check in from time to time to make sure things are okay.
That pretty much sums up this option, if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask away!
Also, if you're having other thoughts about your role play, such as ideas, plot lines and things of that nature, I would suggest making a thread in the Noodle Shop. The Noodle Shop sub forum is a place where members can share and build on role play ideas, and it is our most active sub forum smile

Just wanted to remind everyone to stay active during our rebooting process. I know the holidays took a big toll on everyones schedules.
We'll be having a newsletter and raffle coming soon, and even a decorating service. I am also searching for an in house artist to set up a shop here in the guild.
If you have any suggestions for things to keep you busy here while you wait for a role play reply, please quote me and post here; I love to hear from all of you smile

KY_THE_CREEPER has appeared!
Hello everyone, sorry to do this here, but technically it is a comment... Anyway, I'm Ky, Kyo, or Kyground. You'll see Talon call me Kyon and Kyonkichi surely, but those are exclusively for her.
Anyway, I wanted to let someone know that even though I'm not all that active right now, I intend to be. Once Talon get the Classifieds roleplay moving I'll be able to wander the guild a bit more. Lucky you guys!!
Oh, and you'll see Talon and I argue a lot. It's all in good fun. Really.

>___> DO THIS IN THE RIGHT THREAD GOSH KYONKICHI WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. *pushes toward Welcome thread* GO INTRODUCE YOURSELF.
Oh yeah. I almost forgot about that. If you go in the Fantasy sub forum, you'll see I got started but... never quite finished. xD I DEVELOPED IT SO MUCH (mostly thanks to Silence <3) THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER ANYMORE.
And yes. We argue a lot. Mostly it's Kyon being mean because no one likes him.
