Alec Eifel We do have a ton of stickies, but Il consider it. And theres no reason to be rude, this person just wanted to give us some tips. Yes us regulars really dont need the tips, but remember, we are not the only ones in this guild. There are ??? :O Then we need to get those "others" to "regulars" status so we know biggrin

If I was to ban everyone who hasnt posted, that would like.. cut the guild in half. I wish there was a way I can send a super mass message to all members asking to post every now and then, but I cannot. And I really dont have the time to bug them individually.
Plus if a post like this has made you smack your head, think of all the more posts that would do that if I was to force people to post. Its not like those who are not posting are causing any problems..

No need to be fickle with lurks, if someone has never made a post but has learned something from reading stuff posted here or even gotten a larf..then guild objective complete? I dunno, just my 2 cents. More on topic, as said before this is a solid way to make money for newer players and pures. I found using a terrorbird while doing this helps alot because the bank isn't exactly close, so tireless run is pretty win

the only reason the sticky would be flamed is the high lvl vs low lvl controversy. Most of the regulars are high lvls so they use high lvl ways and lower lvls will complain theres no way of making money for them. They'll get pissed and start a flame war.

Personally, I think it would be an outstanding idea for a "Ways to make gold in Runescape" stickied thread. It would cut down on the random thread topics like this where new people might get flamed.
It can be divided between low, medium, and high level ways of making money for F2P and P2P. The first two to three posts can be saved to be edited by one of the moderators.
As new ways are added, feedback is given on either ways to improve the way to make money, and the finished ways of making money will be put into the area designated for it. This could get complicated - such as making tuna potatoes could be broken down into (easy) gathering potatoes for F2P, gathering and baking them for P2P, (medium) churning butter, buttering baked potatoes, (hard) making finished tuna potatoes (sweetcorn, tuna, and buttered potatoes).
If a person would take the time and type up the level requirements for each process step in their post, a link to that post can be given while a blurb is made in the main area ( Making Potatoes - Step X ).
If something like "going to aviansies" is given for advice - perhaps the person would be kind enough to type up their process and a link to the actual post can be given for more information on how to do it (recommended levels, what to wear, substitutes if those aren't available).
Of course, this would take a lot of time on the contributors' parts. Spelling, grammar, and comprehension can be edited by the moderator (within reason) as well.

You do realize that most people in this guild are far too lazy to actually do that right?

You do realize that most people in this guild are far too lazy to actually do that right? Perhaps, but I personally suck at making money even though I know some of the best ways to make it sweatdrop So why not spread it around ;D

Then either the original person or a moderator can edit the original idea to include additional information (with credit being given to the person who added it).
As you can tell, whoever is assigned to moderate the money-making thread would have to be really on-hands to keep it on-topic and neat. >.<

I can do it. I won't mind doing some research on some methods and noting down requirements, combat level, step by step, and other valuable information. This gives me a chance to improve my English skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and other confusing non-British attributes.
But, I will be starting college soon so I will be swamp with projects and 8hr homework. Since I have school goal for getting all A's and getting on the honor program *Again, I decline last year's offer for no good reason*. But, for now. I see what I can do.
