Curious. Keagan had never kissed him before--not since he was a toddler, anyway--and never smelled like flowers, either. Eau de booze was more of the old man's preferred scent. Faolan blinked a little, eyes focusing, and looked up at Ellandra. "Did you come home finally?"

Faolan sat there for a moment, taking that simple phrase in, then leaned forward, knocking the cup out of Elle's hands as he hugged her. What he lacked in strength was more than made up for in emotion. Sniffling a bit, he hid his face against her shoulder. "Donnae leave me. Please. I'll do better. I'll be better. Just donnae gae away."

Keagan sighed at the two, then moved to get a towel to clean the soup up. His life was just one soiled bed after another, and always thanks to his son. He totally should have left him at that church.

Zia had already moved into helping Keagan with cleaning up. It had made itself useful of late to the old man when it came to caring for its owner.

Faolan relaxed into Ellandra's arms, ears drooping down, and sighed softly. After a few moments, soft snoring could be heard.

"An' here Ah figured Ah'd be knockin' th' lad out cold t'make him get some sleep," Keagan said, eyebrows going up. "Guess he really did need you t' come home." He moved to the couple to help Ellandra rest Faolan back down on the bed. "Want us t'lug his scrawny arse home fae you?"

Keagan put a hand on his daughter-in-law's shoulder. "He'll be alreet again, lass. Nae worries t' tha', yeah? You'll be better, too." He gently nudged Ellandra to get up, then leaned down and tugged Faolan about till he had the young man in his arms. "You two should really hae done more datin' afore lettin' this idiot talk you into marriage an' bairns."

"As long as they donnae involve bringin' home more husbands," Keagan chuckled, carrying Faolan's limp form outside and across the grounds. Zia trailed closely behind, taking hold of Fao's dangling hand.

The Alter looked back at Ellandra and smiled. "He'll be alright now. He just needs some sleep."

Ziazan ran up the steps of their vardo when they reached it, opening the door for Keagan. The old man carried his son in and to the bedroom. "Alreet, where d'you want him?"

The Alter looked at Ellandra. "The cabinet bed might give him the most comfort and quiet to sleep in. He hasn't slept in days. You can snuggle him easier in the other bed, though."

"Make th' choice quick, lass. He's bony t'be sure, but he's still heavy," Keagan grunted.

"Fair enough," Keagan said and moved to unceremoniously dump his son in the cabinet bed. Amazingly Faolan didn't wake up. Instead, the young man sighed, rolled over and curled up. Keagan just smirked and laid a blanket over him. "Tha's reet, lad. Get some rest."

Zia went to the front room and returned with a stool, setting it down before the dressers below the cabinet bed. "There, Mama. Now you can step up and see him better whenever you want."

Keagan patted Elle's head and gently pried Rhian from her to hand off to Ziazan. "You take th' bug, lad, an' go find a place to rest up some. A place tha' ain't in here."

Zia nodded and headed to the front room with Rhian, planning to curl up on the couch with its sister and come up with strategy on fixing their owners. They had a lot to discuss, the Essentics did.

The old man turned to look at Elle. "Ah ain't sure how you're gonna get back down, but Ah suppose you can always get th' lad t'come help." He scooped her up easily and set her, much more gently than he had Faolan, into the cabinet bed as well. "You two need each other fae now. He'll be better if'n he wakes wi' you beside him than if'n he's alone." He smiled a little. "Send the little lad o'er if'n you need anythin'."
