last year our band was the biggest it had been in 7 years and we were only 35 and you guys are like well we ONLY have 50, 50 for us would be like wonderful

There's a school in our county that I think has less than that...they're tiiiiny. I wanna say 18 for some reason, but there's no way I'd know the exact number.

our school had between 35-45 i'm not sure though
apparently ten years ago it was close to the hundreds but now it's small and our band director left to a different school and our senior football players graduated so.... less people in band, new band director, and less football players... going to be an interesting year....

Frederick County. There's only a couple other bands in my county that are about my size (60-70, I think), and then there's one giant one and the tiny one. xd

We used to have around 50-ish.... its ok back in the ninety's we had like 100 and then our school split into 2 and we lost half of the band and then it slowly deteriorated from there to under 30 including color gaurd
(others graduated)
Plus, our school hates us....they almost dropped our ban program this year...
It took a lot of protesting and angry phonecalls to win it back.
Even our saludictorian, our first trombone player last year, did his part in winning it back lol His graduation speech was about how the music program was the thing he treasured most about highschool.wow that sucks i mean they dont like us (cause we dont win any awards our town is shallow) but they wouldnt get rid of the band cause then our football team would have nothing for a halftime show. You know what sucks our school gets these new practice field for the football team they only use it for 20 mins a day so anyway they cut our field in half and now its crap cause they used our practice to make the nice Bermuda grass field. now we have to practice on field thats half dirt we were like lets practice on that field it so pretty
It has absolutely KILLED my shoes! D=
