"Least I'm useful for somethin' right?" He joked as he blurred again, no longer visible for a moment until he appeared somewhere on a branch up ahead to fluidly launch himself again. Warui started to consider the situation. He might have to use "that" to get the job done. He was fast, but it wasn't his speed that concerned him. He would have to make it between the villages without running into any sort of trouble... a challenge that was made all the harder by his cargo.

As Maha neared the gates, she could feel the eyes of the guards upon her. Let them stare... let them watch... No point in turning back now... She then clenched her fists and let out a frustrated cry, grabbing the attention of the jounin who were freaked by her sudden outburst. She then turned back and walked the way she came. Hell no was she giving up. Hell no was she just going to let him go. Before she knew it, she ran, searching frantically for his face. Where was he...? Where was he? She needed to find him. She wouldn't let this happen again. This happened once, she wouldn't let it happen again. He needed her. And there was no way she was just going to leave him like that... no way...Same ol thing- Samurai Champloo

Hakubo was laying on the roof of one of the buildings, his legs where handing off the edge of the building; dangling in the air. He did not really have anything to do until Maha got back from the Village hidden in the Rain. As he laid there he looked at one of the clouds floating overhead before slowly letting his eyes drift closed. He did not bother looking around seeing as how she was not going to be back for quite a while; So Hakubo simply remained there; his eyes closed.

Finally, she had found him. Lying there with his eyes closed. Waiting... What was he waiting for? What was he doing? She then bit her lip and sat next to him, quietly lying down with his form as she held him with one of her arms. She didn't have much to say; she didn't need to. She was here now, right? She wasn't going anywhere for a while. So she'd stay with him. For now. Until the both of them had the strength to get back on there feet and do this. Whatever decision he had was his to make. But right now... she needed him. She was... 'lost' right now... Same ol thing- Samurai Champloo

Hakubo remained laying in the same spot as he had been before and opened his eyes as Maha's arm wrapped around him. He did not say anything but he smiled lightly and remained there for a while not really wanting to move; the two of them remaining there not bothering to move for almost half an hour.
He then slowly sat up and looked down at Maha. "So what are you doing here, i thought you where going to go the the Rain village and confront Warui" He said looking down at her.

Maha shook her head and buried her head in his chest, breathing lightly as she sat up with him, kissing his forehead as she did so with a small, apologetic smile. ... One way or another, she had to reveal what she could. Whether it be too deep or shallow. She'd allow him to see. "..." she then looked at the sky, then back at him, then wrapped her arms around her legs, "... I'm lost," she admitted, resting her head on her knees, "... I can't go anywhere, I just--" she couldn't find the words. But they found her, "I can't... I can't deal with any of this right now. Not without you or Warui. I... I need you. And him. I just... I don't want to do this alone," she said, gritting her teeth as she held her legs tighter to her chest. "... Not right now. I... I need to think. I need to clear my head before I can dive into something," she breathed, bringing her chin up to look at the scene infront of her, "That's why... I'm going to stay with you right now. Until I can bring myself to face the Rain... 'kay?" she said softly, avoiding his eyes as they stared into space, lost in thought.Maha Theme

Hakubo watched her as she spoke, he said nothing and did nothing other then simply watch the girl speak. His face flushed red from the kiss that she had given his forehead. After she was finished he spook his head lightly. "I dont know about Warui; but i wont leave. I wont work this him, but i also will not leave" He said reaching up and putting his hand on her shoulder gently, a kind smile on his face as he said that; it as a weary and slightly depressed smile; but a smile non the less.
"If you do not want to go to the Rain; then we can simply head to the Stone village like you had originally planned" He said with the faint smile still on his face. "So you don't need to worry about me vanishing because i wont; i promise"

Maha let out a sigh and nodded, hugging him as they both sat there together. She didn't like it. She didn't want to just leave this behind while things got worse and worse over in the rain village. But she had to let it pass through her if she was ever going to contemplate again. There was nothing she could do right now. And as frustrating as it was, she needed to let it go... ... Because it was getting worse, she thought, trying to phase her hand inside the roof's tiles. No such luck. Her hand was met with resistance against the solid force she tried to get past. She then shut her eyes closed and hid her hand from Hakubo. She'd be useless if he found out. She could slip out of things once contained. Water could always slip away out of sight, and find a new path when cornered. Strong enough to wash away earth, put out fire, and tear down even the toughest of metals. ... But when still and contained, water was useless. "... Me too," she smiled, holding his hand as she gave him a happy, yet pain-filled smile, "Promise I'll be right here too, Hakubo. I'm not leaving you behind either," she said, hugging him as she beamed with joy, "I'm staying right with you, friend." The Souls of Women rest for a moment... -Read or Die.

A smile spread over Hakubo's face, a bit less of a forced one this time; and a bit more of a true smile. "So should we get your friend and go to the Stone village?" he asked tilting his head to the side slightly. "Also Shichiyou is going to be doing some training for the next few days so she will not be able to join us for a while" He said this a bit disappointed that his partner would be gone; but he knew that this would cheer Maha up a bit seeing as how the two did not see eye to eye on many if any subjects. The boy looked back at Maha and waited for her response to what he had said.

Maha nodded and let go, "Yeah. C-Come on," she said, kissing him on the cheek this time, "'Bought time I had you to myself, Hakubo." She couldn't bring herself to call him 'Blue-eyes' or 'Puppet-boy' like before; she held too much respect for him to even try to muster those words out. She had nearly forgotten about Shichiyou, and for a strange moment of occurance, she didn't seem to care whether or not she was coming along. She could see why she wanted someone good like Hakubo around, she thought, smiling as she got up. "Let's go find Mika-chan. Should be around here somewhere if we just look..." she said with a smile, brushing back her dark blue hair.Maha Theme

Hakubo laughed a bit and turned even redder as she kissed him on the cheek. He seemed almost frozen after the kiss landed before he moved only due to her pulling on him as she stood up. "A-alright" He said still red in the cheeks. "If... if you say so" He said following after her as she started to walk.

As Maha neared the gates of Konoha, she thought had of how to explain things to young Mika without sounding harsh and, well, Maha-ish. But thus far, she was struggling to find the words. "... This isn't a game you know," said Maha as she glanced over her shoulder at Mika, "This is... big..." After much difficulty, she let out a heavy sigh and muttered under her breath, "Just... stay focused. Alot's at stake. Not just Konoha, but other villages. This was Hokage's dying wish... and..." She then hardened her tone and straightened her face, masking herself in stone as she advanced towards the forest, "It just means alot. Got it?"Maha Theme

♥♥Mika Kisashi♥♥Mika nodded in agreement. "Don't worry Miss Hatanari. Lady Hokage made it very clear how important this mission was. I understand completely. By accepting this mission, I have put my life on the line."

Maha stared at Mika for a while, before turning her head away and politely nodding as she pounced up a tree. She didn't want to look at her. She seemed like a nice girl, but she had the same dumb, cheerful look Mikuru had. Maha then scoffed and headed higher, "Hurry up," she smirked playfully, "Stone's this way."Maha Short Theme
