"Yew wanted a cookie, so yew may have tried to cook one... in th'toaster, ah suppose?" Chef growled, still looming over the tiny host. If he remembered correctly, this had happened before... but there was a different camper every night washing dishes with their bare paws in Chris' place when Chris was supposed to do it. Man! He had to be careful.
"Is there anything else yew'd like to tell me?" Like his guess was wrong? Please say it was wrong. Chef didn't want to face the truth.

Chris chanced a glance up at the Chef and instantly regretted it. Crap crap -crap- he was screwed.

Chef leaned a little closer to the host, his scowl deepening. "Maybe? Maybe? Yew come into my kitchen and maybe tried to make cookies in mah toaster?!"
Unfortunately for Chris, now was one of those times where flattery would get you anywhere.

Chris quickly sidestepped, doing his very best to avoid that angry gaze.
"maybe..."
The host whimpered, keeping his focus on his captured Chia-friend.
"Cmoon man, give him back! I didn't mean to do it..."
...Well no, he didn't really mean to eff up the toaster. He just wanted a cookie! Gawd!

"Now what do yew intend to do now, Chris [CENSORED FOR PRIVACY ISSUES] McLean? Yew come into MAH kitchen, use MAH things, break MAH toaster, and now want ME to give YEW back Fluffy?"

Chris froze at the use of his full name. What the HELL Chef-man, what the hell?! If Chris could just curl up on the floor and disappear right now he probably would. Though calling in a jet and getting the hell away from here for a while (again) would work too. Yeah...
"Seriously dude, I didn't -try- to break the thing...you know if I really -wanted- to I'd do it in a much grander way!"
With like..explosions and s**t. Yeah!
"I put in a spare until we can get you a different one man, cmooon...."
Chris whined, turning to look back at him with his own flattened ears. Submissive flattened ears. From -the host-. Something only Chef saw, really.

With the chia pet came a great power. But with that power also came a higher risk for getting fired, but man did it feel good to see the host reduced to this! Chef slowly nodded in agreement. "That's true, man. Ah'm jus' surprised yew didn't try putting foil in th'microwave... not that we have one 'ere or anythin'. Anymore." Scowl. "Ah liked that microwave, man. Ah still have the hot pockets ah would've heated up and eaten 'til yew pulled that trick."
With a sigh, Chef handed back Fluffy and wiped his hands on the front of his apron. Ugh! Bad luck comes from holding that too long. "Jus'... one question man. Why the toaster?"

Ohhhh yeah. Wawanawka was missing quite a few things it once had. Alllll thanks to a certain smirking host.
YES! SCORE! Chris nabbed his Chiapet and hugged it. Yes -hugged it-. He really...really loves that thing okay.
"...I dunno dude, it...seemed like a good idea?"
...That and he just plain didn't know any better. Seriously camper dudes, -this- is why you should be thankful for Chef! At least MCLEAN isn't cooking for you! Though with McLean you'd probably only get one day of food before he managed to blow up the entire kitchen.
....
Scratch that. You'd probably only get -one meal-.

Chef scowled. "Yeah, along with... mrph. Yew know wut you did." Tch, as if Chef was going to speak of that ever again. Grrrr!
He couldn't help but to stare in utter amazement at the self-centered host. "A... good idea. Man, yew are nucking futs." The Audio paused, made a face, and then wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Ugh! Ah've been spending too much time around th'campers. Hmph. So yew want cookies or wut?"

Sloooowly the ears came back up, as did the tail. Hrm...Chef was done yelling at him? Even after messing up his toaster? Even AFTER Chef used his FULL NAME? Huh... Seemed kinda..eh what the hell, he wasn't going to complain if Chef was done yelling at him!

Chef turned his back to the host and ignored him, going to the refrigerator and opening it to pull out a package of ready-to-bake cookie dough, seeing as Chris attempted to cram the entire package of one of the baking sheets into the poor toaster.
He broke them off, arranged them on a baking sheet, and slid it into the oven and waited, back towards the host. Chris might not be out of the hot water yet...

Awh -crap-
Ears drooped again. Damnit, Chef was ignoring him.... Making cookies yes! But also ignoring him. Crap, crap, and more crap. This...could possibly end quite bad.
Chris took a few cautious steps towards Chef, seemingly ready to bolt at any minute. Really, he -had- Fluffy... I'd be okay to bolt now, though he'd miss out on cookies.

DING! Cookies are done!
Chef carefully withdrew the cookies from the oven (man! Ratchet sped that thing UP!) and set them down, turning on a fan to quickly cool them as he scooped them onto a separate plate. After a few minutes of doing this as well as using his large size to block Chris' view, he finally turned around and presented the host with a platter of cookies.
...
Each one had 'BY EATING THIS AH AGREE TO AND SWEAR THAT AH WON'T ENTER CHEF'S KITCHEN UNATTENDED EVER AGAIN. EVER.' written on it.
Chef beamed. "Ah learn from the best, man."

Cookies were done!....But Chef's back was still towards him. And no amount of standing on tip-toes would help Chris see. Curse his shortness! Man, what -was- Chef doing?
....Oh.
"And by the best...."
The host ventured forward, a hint of a smirk starting to cross his face.
"You mean me right dude? Not you know...those other dudes?"
Because if Chef was learning from the -other- producers, Chris was pretty screwed...and he'd be pretty upset man. -He- was the most awesome one here.
Chris snagged a cookie and looked it over. Hrm...unattended huh? Meant he could come into the kitchen attended by an intern right? Hehehehe, oh he'd find a way out of this alright. The host quickly ate the cookie, beaming back at Chef.
"Guess I agree dude!"

"Tch, who else is here, man?" Chef asked, putting the platter down on his knife holder/tablet/counter top area. "Not like ah'll learn anything from the interns or campers." Or would he? The campers were tricky little creatures, after all...
"Heh. Good, man. Otherwise ah'd have had ta find another way. And that way... well, heh heh, jus' be glad ah didn't go that way."
