Ryan saw Mariel come out of the bathroom " Ok I can show you now , he started to walk over to where the cash register where, then he made a sharp tern over close to the employ break room. He then stopped " See that block" he was pointing to the trophy box. His eyes glowed and he said in an airy voice " THE ORGINAL ZEBRA PLUSHIE" he took in a deep breath " It even has dimponds in its eyes , and they used RARE SAND TO FILL IT!" he took in one more breath " It was hand made none like it , and thats the way it should be , greatness for the GREAT AEKEA ZEBRA's" he stated in a rather large voice.
" They say its really soft , and every year they pick a lucky winner to hold it ,and take a photo with it" he pointed to the piteures up above the trpopphy box. " They say its super soft , even softer then your tail" he was trying to sell the worth of the plusie , and he looked to be doing a good job.
Gabriel looked over to Luna " Hes showing her the orginal Aekea Zebra plushie , Im sure you remeber .. they made it with the finsist of finsist martrials it was all over the news around ten tears ago , I was just a kid then" he looked down at his feet "boy time does fly" he chuckled.
He looked up at Luna " Sorry , I should of told you earlier , but Ryan was just so happy to show it someone" he smiled.

Mariel followed obediently and only lost Ryan for a second when he made a sharp turn. But she found him quickly and went into the break room to find him already talking about it. She listened intently and looked at the plushie in the glass case. By the way that Ryan spoke about it mariel could feel his longing to touch it and hold it, she even found herself wanting to hold it and maybe take it on an adventure with her.
"Wow made of the finest stuff....." Mariel looked at the wall with the pictures of all the other kids that got to hold the plushie. That did sound really cool, but..."Hey Ryan, what do you have to do to win it?" She knew this was really important for Ryan and she wondered if there would be a way to get him to hold the plushie. Maybe she could go on a great adventure with Ryan to a lost temple to get the raffle tickets or something...her mind began to concoct all kinds of cool things they could do to get that Plushie for Ryan.
But as a side thought she had to ask. "Who are the Akea Zebras?" Mariel wasnt one to watch much sports, she was generally out in the backyard having imaginary adventures, practicing her tumbling/gymnastics or splashing in the lake behind the house. She had no idea that the games she played with Luna were sports or that sports teams were so competitive.
Luna smiled "Ah jes I remember dat peluche" She chuckled, she did indeed remember hearing about that plushie being made and remembered how all of her friends had wondered what it felt like and had all tried to enter the contests to be chosen to hold it. Those were good times. "Now look at us, we are parents! Ha do ju ever tink ju would be here?" She laughed again knowing full well that she would have never imagined showing her children the plushie she had wanted to feel as a child.
She waved her hand in the air and gave Gabe a smile "No worries about not telling me, Mariel likes adventura and if I know what Ryan is doing it would ruin her fun. Ju know how da little ones are." Luna was pleased that Gabe was honest with her about not telling her before but she was just happy that the kids were playing. If it was something more serious then maybe she would be mad but as it was this could be easily forgiven, it wasnt like the kids were planning to run away and he didnt tell her, haha that would be the day.

Ryan with sad eyes said " Well the raffle doesn't start till December, so Im going to have to wait" he kicked his left foot around. Then she asked him something that blew him out of the water. How could she not know the greatest Gaian Football team in the WORLD! He was flabbergasted but once he got the words he said " ONLY THE BEST TEAM IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD" he hit his hand on his head.
Little did Ryan know that the Zebra's never ranked once. He just knew he liked watching them. Ryan took Mariel by the shoulder with his right hand. Then he turned her to the cashiers and all the people shopping and with his left hand he made big motion " See all the people dear friend , they would all DIE to be on the Zebra's , a Zebra Foot Ball player could buy everything in this store" he said with a big smile.
Gabriel turned to her " Nope , not here not with all the unique kids I have" he giggled. His giggle always made people chuckle. It wasn't girly it was more uniesex and funny. " All my kids love adventur , and they get me in all sorts of them" he said still cracking up.
Gabriel listend to Ryan talk to Mariel as if he was Mufasia from 'Lion King' and Mariel was Simba. He then turned to Luna " You would think by the way he talks about them , that they would be kind of good" he said really low voiced so only Luna could hear him. He then put his index finger to his lips " shhhh , make sure you never call them bad ok" he made eye connected to confirm.

Mariel was surprised by Ryans loud and booming answer. She felt a little embarrassed since he made it sound like everyone in the world knew about this team except her. She still made no resolution to watch sports but she now knew that it was one of those things you had to at least know the basics about. She watched as Ryan told her about all of the things that a zebra could buy and how amazing they were and mariel found herself wanting to meet a Zebra. They sounded like really fantastic people.
"Ryan we should meet a zebra one day!" She declared and then secretly made a resolution to find out what football was and how to play it. She didnt want to ask Ryan just yet because she didnt want to seem like she didnt know anything but it was a sport and that involved activity and she always liked activity so she figured she would like whatever football was as well.
Luna winked and nodded to show Gabe that she would keep his secret safe. She never really watched sports so she didnt know who ranked where but once in a while when she turned on the tv and there was an exciting game of any kind she would sit and watch it. She just never followed the sport or any one team. Now that she thought about it she had only seen the zebras play once since she usually only watched the finals because of the great comercials. She chuckled and sighed.
"Eet sounds like jur boy is going to recruit Mariel into a Zebra team of his own." She smiled and motioned towards Ryan talking to Mariel like an elder to a child. It was a rather comical sight to see because both of them were so young but good times like this could only happen with children and she did enjoy seeing it. "Ah kids, I hope they never change." she said to anyone who wanted to listen.

Ryan's eyes widened , he never thought of meeting a real life Zebra Player. His mind couldn’t comprehend it. To meet such worthy people would almost be too much for him. He scratched his forehead " I’m not sure, I mean there likes soooo much better than me" he said in a shy voice.
This kind of thing never happened to Ryan, he was normally really out going. Mariel did the impossible, made Ryan blush and ponder on something.
Gabriel looked back at Luna with a big smile “He must get it from his brothers” he kind of chuckled “There full of Aekea pride”. Gabriel himself wasn’t so into separating into one group and not liking another. He nodded and confirmed on her last statement.

Mariel smiled and clapped her hands excitedly. "Yes we should find a way to meet a Zebra then yyou can be a Zebra tooo!" Her plan was perfect...well at least it would be as soon as she made a plan. At the moment she was just set on getting Ryan to meet a Zebra cause she knew it would make him really happy. "Dont worry you still gotta grow up Ryan so they'll see you and be like oooo your so good kid, cause were little they always call us kids! Than the Zebras can TRAIN YOU!!" Mariel was just letting her imagination build but it sounded like something plausible and she was happy that she was figuring something out for other people. She had never planned an adventure that didnt involve just her before. Planning for other people was FUN!
Mariel ran over to the adults and wondered how to ask. Since she could see the adults talking she assumed they were also talking about Zebras and she needed to know where they practiced. She had to figure out where to take Ryan before she could make her exciting plan. "Mami mami where do tha Zebras practice?"
Luna smiled as Gabriel mentioned how Ryans siblings were into sports. That must be it things like that always influenced the young ones. She smiled and nodded remembering how her brothers had always fussed over the soccer finals. She had to admit she remembered them as always being fun to watch. She was about to Answer Gabriel and talk a little more about Mariel when Mariel suddenly came up to her and asked about the sports teams. "Um...mijita no se, pero puedes preguntar a Gabriel." Luna asked mariel to ask Gabe because she really had no idea where the sports teams practiced since she really never played a port except for soccer and even that was only once in a while. "But if your planning to go visit eet will have to wait mijita eet is too late tonight we will have to go home soon." Luna could see the twinkle in mariels eyes and she knew what that meant.

Ryan looked at her with almost a tear in his eye " You would do that for me" he said and blinked a few times. He wasn't sure how they would meet them , but just the fact that she cared so much to say something like that , ment alot. His tail wagged on the floor and in the air slowly back and forth.
Gabriel didn't really know how to meet one of the football players. He thought really quick " Well I'm not sure , but why Don't I do some reserch , and when I find the answer I will call up Miss.Luna and we can make a date" he said with a grin.
Ryan was smiling from ear to ear " THEN we Can go to THAT PARK where we first met... and I can show Mariel my FAVORIT SWING " he said winking at his new friend. He really ment the secret place , but he didn't want his Dad to find out since it was kind of dangerous.
Gabriel smiled " I guess soo Ryan" he chuckled then he turned to Luna " Hey can we stop by aile number seven I really need to get some good organic snacks , getting the kids ready for school" he said hoping she would be ok with it , or let him go alone.

Mariel squeaked with joy as Ryan mentioned the "swing" she caught his wink and she knew it really meant that he was gonna show her the secret place. She was so excited. "ya your pa can find out where they'll be and we'll go see them and it'll be FUN" It all sounded like a great adventure to her and she was more than happy to participate in it. PLUS it seemed to mean alot for Ryan and he was alot more fun when he was happy so she couldn't wait to find out how to play football too. That would be interesting and maybe she could use her new tumbling skills to help out! She was getting herself more and more excited by the second.
Luna laughed at the kids excitement, it was rather cute and fun to be a part of. Ah how she enjoyed being a parent! Luna wrote the house number on a piece of paper and handed it to Gabe so they could make a date to go see the football team with the kids. maybe they would go to the training sessions or something for a meet and greet. She figured during a game they might not be inclined to see fans but she didnt know much about sports and so she would leave that to Gabe. But it was getting very late and she had work in the morning. "I'm sorry Gabe but we 'ave to go, eets getting late." Luna smiled and motioned for mariel to follow her, they were going to go pay and return home. "Eet was nice to meet ju both."
mariel pouted but she was also getting hungry so she didnt complain out loud. She bounced over to Luna and turned to wave back at Ryan and Gabe. "BYE! Dont forget were gonna meet a Zebra and we gotta go on the swings!!" She called out happily as the two girls walked towards the cashier.

Ryan smiled at Mariel and waved his hands all around " DON'T WORRY THE SWINGS WILL BE GREAT , AND THE ZEBRAS WILL BE EVEN BETTER" he shouted even though she was only a few feet away.
Gabriel saw his aisle glowing and started to move towards it " See you later Mariel and Luna" he gave off a bright smile and didn't shout like his little one did.
Ryan jumped on the cart and Gabriel finished shopping.
