Melpomene nodded. "Yes it was and I think it's going to get a bit worse in a bit. I can smell their father heading this way." She said looking off into the distance. She returned her focus back to Gethin and smiled. "Very true. Who knows what these young ones will end up doing." She said, "Thank you for letting me return to the pack with them. They are indeed something to be happy about. I remember that from my old pack. Pups were always the cause of a celebration." She smiled at Epiphron and Avora but it faded a bit at Momus and Nemesis..... well mostly Nemesis. She would be a troublemaker for sure. Noticing Nemesis as she started to walk away she sighed. "Don't go too far. Stay were I can see you."

Momus grinned and turned to his brother. "Did you hear that?! It's a pleasure to meet us!" He said running out from under his mother's legs to hop around Epiphron, "I think that's the first someone said that to us!" His tail was wagging quickly and he turned to stare at Gethin. "So..... um.... Mister Alpha why do you have that big cape? Aren't you hot? And why the fangs?" He asked curious now that his momentary fear was gone.

Momus was finally starting to get on Nemesis' nerves. She stood up and began walking away from her family and the alpha. She didn't want to be around them and her little ears had picked up on something important her mother said. Their father was coming this way. She sighed at her mother's orders. "Yes mother." She said still walking away. She sniffed the air but only caught scents she didn't know. Where was her father?!

Gethin glanced at Melpomene, his features twisting into a light frown. "I thought I had smelled something nearby.." Though by the tone of her voice and the way she spoke, this was not shaping up to be a happy union. A smile had returned once again, nodding. "Of course. New life is always a cause for celebration."

The male nodded lightly as Avora introduced herself, smiling at the small pup. "A pleasure to meet you, Avora."
He glance away as Nemesis and Epiphron headed away from the group, concern edging his mind though it soon slipped away at Melpomene's order. His amber eyes glanced back at the other male, Momus, and couldn't help but chuckle softly. "My cape and my fangs are what help me be unique. However, it can get hot, yes."

Moros was steadily making his way towards Melpomene's smell. He had caught her scent on the wind earlier and had began moving towards that. He caught several other scents with her; some that smelled like him and Melpomene and another that smelled completely different, dangerous almost. Still he wanted to know why there were helixes smelling like him so he continued on his way there.

Melpomene nodded. "Yes I think he caught my scent sometime ago." She said. She looked down at Avora and nodded. "Alright but please don't wander out of my sight." She said watching as three of her children ran off. She sighed and turned back to Gethin and Momus. "Are you going too Momus?" She asked before talking to Gethin, "How is the pack doing?"

Momus' eyes grew wide at Gethin's answer. "Yeah! It does make you unique!" He said wagging his tail quickly, "No mom. I'm going to stay here with you and Mister Alpha. I wanna talk to him more!" With that he began circling Gethin to get a better look of him.

Nemesis looked back and saw her big brother and little sister following her. She sighed and looked back forward. Great, now she'd have to really listen to mother now. After traveling a bit further she stopped and looked back. She could barely see Melpomene now and knew that if they went any further they'd get in trouble.

Gethin nodded slowly, watching the three pups traipse off a ways. "I caught an unknown scent when I was following to meet you.." He murmured offhandedly. He caught scents on the wind, the stranger seemed closer.. "Hm? Oh yes, everything's been doing well. Been catching a fair amount of food, in spite of this heat wave." He glanced down at Momus, watching him circle and chuckled softly. An excitable little thing, wasn't he?

Nemesis growled to herself as her brother and sister continued on. Here she was trying to keep them out of trouble and they just go off past where their mother could see them. "Yes we will get into trouble but it seems you don't care." She said sighing and following them. She spotted the figure in the distance and knew that it was their father. Excited to see him and possibly get away from her mother she ran towards him.

Melpomene nodded at Momus and turned to Gethin. "That's good. The pack was probably doing so well since I was gone." She said with a small nod, "This heat wave is something else. We'll have to make sure the pups get plenty of water." She turned her head to check on her other pups and sighed. They hadn't listened to her and had gone past where she could see them. She looked again and saw a figure heading this way. "I think I know where the pups went off to. Care to join me as I go greet their father?"

Momus looked up and spotted Gethin looking at him. "So... um...." He said catching what his mother said, "Dad's here?! Where? I wanna go!" He bounded towards his mother as she began walking towards Moros.

Moros paused in his walking as he spotted a grey, white, and red female running towards him. He cocked his head as he recognized the tail and some of the markings. It was his tail and the markings were very similar to his. This was one of the sources of the strange scent. He began walking forward again to meet her and the two others who were with her, both of which had the same tail.

"We were also doing well before you left." Gethin reminded her lightly, nodding in response to her second remark. He followed her gaze towards the adventurous pups, spotting the figure a short distance from them. The dark alpha fell into step beside her, gazing at the approaching male with quiet curiosity. What had happened, that would cause such a separation?

Momus ran ahead of his mother and Gethin to catch up to his siblings. He wanted to meet their father! He spotted the male up ahead and noticed that his fur was most like like his father's. It had a bit of coloring from his mother but the brown and black and markings were definitely from Moros. And his siblings had the same tail. He paused for a moment to look at his own and felt a little sad. He didn't have the same tail. However knowing that his fur was colored almost the same made him feel better. After a moment he was racing towards Moros again. "Dad!"

Nemesis stopped only a few feet from Moros. She studied him closely before wagging her tail. Yes this was her father. Her instincts were screaming that he was. She may not look too much like him besides her tail and markings (she didn't have the exact same colors as him) but she knew anyways that he was their father. "Hello....... Dad." It felt a little weird calling him dad but that was due to the fact that she had never seen him before. She looked at Avora and nodded.

Melpomene looked at Gethin with her head cocked ever so slightly. "Yes I guess we were." She said looking back towards Moros and the pups. She stopped near him but left a little distance between them. "Hello Moros. I suppose you can already see that we have pups." She said sitting down and wrapping her tail around her.

Moros was studying each pup as they approached him. They all had some way of looking like him; the tail, the markings, even the fur color. As Melpomene approached his attention turned to her. Why did she take his children away from him? His eyes narrowed slightly as an Alpha followed after her. This must be her alpha, Gethin. "Hello Melpomene. It's so nice to finally know that after our little time together resulted in pups. Why didn't you tell me about them?" He asked with eyes full of accusation.

Gethin smiled lightly, before turning back to the moment. His amber eyes glanced over the strange male as he stopped beside Melpomene. Ears perking as he listened, gathering his own information. His apparent anger was not surprising. However, the fur beneath his cape bristled silently, as he remained alert. Hostility would not be tolerated. "I am sure she has a plausible reason."
