"What else?" She pondered that question for a little while, she wasn't sure whether or not there was anything and after a while she made up her mind.

"Okay, erm there is nothing that's more or anywhere near as thrilling as hunting." At least not to her. She loved hunting it was great fun. In fact there was nothing better then it, she loved it even though she didn't really need to do it. It was just more fun then anything else.

"You should hunt. It's amazing." No one was going to change her mind on that, there was no doubt about that.

He looked away a moment to look across the savannah, wondering if all lions felt this way. Was there a thrill in the hunt that made even the gods willing to take part in it even though it wasn’t needed? Since it seemed to be the case, the grim idea that Palahala’s job was to protect prey in a world where both mortals and Gods were taking part in killing his wards both depressed the godling and made him appreciate the god’s job more. How did you convince others not to hunt when they felt it was the greatest pleasure in the world? Having not experienced such a thrill, he didn’t know what could be something that he could argue was better in comparison, and he didn’t feel as if he wanted to.

Looking back, he couldn’t hate the female for doing what she liked, but didn’t see her in such a perfect glow now. True, she was more beautiful than anyone else he met, but now he could see that there were things he couldn’t agree with her upon. He could only hope that she found a more thrilling substitute later on in her endless life.

I don’t think I could ever hunt. I love my friend too dearly to do that. He’s done too much for me that to go and kill one of the very creatures in his domain would just feel wrong. He would hate me for it, I’m sure. I never want him to hate me.” The god was like a older brother to him, and he still wanted to see him again without feeling ashamed.

The conversation had seemed to go against each other’s grain, and he perked up, not wanting to seem cold to her. “I find talking thrilling. I love it. That’s what really get’s my heart going.

"Talking?" Yes the idea was something that surprised her.

"But talking can become boring and sometimes, to some annoying. Surely that can't be thrilling? Not if you are talking about something dull, where is the adrenaline in talking? Maybe you should try fighting? I have seen many males duel - it does them good and they seem to love it." Satomi nodded as she spoke. Males were suppose to duel and lead - talking had no part in it. This was a very strange godling indeed.

The godling laughed outright, shaking his head. “You can do a lot with words. Like now. I learned you find hunting thrilling, and that you find the way a cheetah is shaped odd. You also are dedicated in your domain not to give the lesson away. See. I learn a bit more about you and can get an impression of who you are. You’re also helpful in suggesting what it is I can do as a male, even though you said before that you do not know because you are the essence of females.” His tail swayed as he spoke, energized by this new turn. “And there is fighting with words too, and those who speak the best and make their point are the ones that win. It’s just like fighting, but there is not a single claw that comes out. That’s thrilling, though it also is depressing when you lose.” Khuluma was still learning and had met a few gods where he had lost to. It was embarrassing to say the least, but he came through with more experience. Practice did make perfect after all.

As for dull, it’s up to you to pick a endless amount of topics to be entertaining. You’re the one controlling if the topic is dull to the other or not. If so, change the subject. Conversations are not one sided. If you want to talk to someone, talk about what you want to talk about. Why limit yourself?” He breathed deep. “That’s why it’s thrilling to me.

The godling had heard the part about dueling, but what thrill was there in fighting with your body? Putting yourself in danger seemed to be putting yourself in danger for no reason. That and he was still small. What dueling could he possibly do, and what would he be fighting for?

"Arguing is pointless for males or females. Fighting is something males do because they are suppose to be strong and protect but whats the point in fighting with words? Out witting someone is hardly worth it." She was sure this classed a debate, this she didn't mind but fighting with words as he put it was just stupid. What was the point in arguing after all?

"I don't see how talking can be thrilling it's not bad conversing but thrilling nope." She smiled as she spoke, of course she was smiling, she always smiled but she wouldn't and couldn't understand how talking could be at all thrilling.

"I am afraid we must agree to disagree today." She was sure that he was a strange golding there was no doubt about that. She wasn't sure that the male would do too well against a proper male either. Talking instead of fighting? How odd indeed.

The statement rubbed him the wrong way like a thorn bush against his underbelly. Agree to disagree. It was a statement he hated, and he felt his fur bristle when he heard it. This wasn’t’ helped by Satomi telling him that outwitting anyone was pointless and what he did was not how he was suppose to act. It felt right to him and he took great pleasure in what he did. There was no denying that it was not thrilling to him. “No.” he said, shaking himself off as if he was shaking off something unpleasant that was dumped on him. “I disagree, and that’s how it is. I won’t agree to simply give up. I don’t like saying that. Agree to disagree. I just think you haven’t found a thrilling conversation. I hope you do, and I hope you win a conversation that makes you feel very happy. ” The way he felt when he could get his message across to someone else. In this case, it didn’t seem like it was going through, and he ruffled his wings in response.

And I don’t think that I want to be the male you say I should be if I have to fight without talking first. It’s dirty, and I don’t like it. I’d much rather talk. ” The idea of having to fight someone just didn’t seem like it was necessary to him. “Seeing as you say you don’t know what males do in the first place, I think I know more than you - I am a male after all, and as one, I say I don’t like fighting.” Satomi did say she didn’t know what males did, so anything she said now about what he was suppose to do was just what she thought. If she didn’t want to give him the answers, he would just know himself. Right now, he felt that inside, fighting that way was not the way he wanted to fight, and words were far more thrilling than hunting. That is what he could agree with.

Still, he felt himself soften to her. Her dazzling glow and soft features were something he didn't want to fight with. Regardless of her looks, he still felt a dislike in their opinions.

"We are disagreeing and you are happy to keep it that way so you are agreeing to disagreeing. I thought you liked to fight in conversation." She was slightly amused. The little godling seemed to slightly contradict himself, he was disagreeing with her, disagreeing to agree to disagree and so contradicting himself.

"Well I hope you don't come across a real man then. You will be torn to shreds in the seconds you start talking." She flicked her tail suddenly finding she wasn't keen on this male anymore. "Either way I hope you survive with your talking even if it is always rather dull. I however shall go, this is a pointless conversation. Good luck with your life." She wasn't stupid and wasn't about to hang about. They seemed to strongly disagree and something just didn't sit right about him. Not fighting indeed. She stretched before turning to leave him. Maybe he would learn one day... maybe he wouldn't.
