He almost asked her what she had to think about before stopping himself. Every time he did that she wound up saying it weirdly and making him look stupid because she couldn't talk plainly.
"Mm.." He grunted slightly in response instead

"I doubt you find yourself plagued by such problems though... Not if you can clear your mind enough to meditate." She smirked softly, seeming somewhat amused as she rested her head on her paws. For once it almost seemed comfortable lying in Mpasuko's company... Oddly so.

"I thought everyone said i didn't have enough in my head usually." He muttered to himself. He was used to being called a lunk and having no one think he was smart enough to do anything more complicated than guard the borders.

"Everyone has something in their head, Mpasuko... Even if it's just rocks, or air." She smirked softly, the action still seeming somewhat warm, possibly due to lethargy. "I doubt those with rocks or air would be trusted with guarding our home, so certainly you have more than that."

"Rock, usually." he smirked slightly. Most others prefered to gloss things over and he had never understood the point. It was so much easier to just say what you meant. It was after all what you meant and what you wanted to say.

"Makes me only good at that." Though he supposed that if you couldn't be good at something in life there really wasn't much use in living. He'd just be a useless lump if he'd been born outside of this pride. He wouldn't know what he would do with himself if he couldn't fight.

"Yea .. maybe." He got up again and shook the snow off his paws so he could head back down the path. She was probably only being nice because she was half asleep. If he stuck around too long he would just end up getting snarled at again for being stupid.
"Don't freeze." Practical advice and his farewell as he turned down the path.
