Relief washed over Samaki as the older lioness called out to her. Her steps dragged slightly as she emerged from the water, having grown used to the buoyancy, but her eyes were bright. She had done it...she had not only seen the ocean, she had swum in it! Just as important, she would now live beside it, learning of the curious flora and fauna that resided there.
"Is everything...in order?" she asked, pausing to catch her breath.

Dufi watched from her mothers legs and smiled as she watched the lioness. As she came back Dufi couldn't help but cheer! Another lion in the pride! YAY! That always made Dufi happy, she did so love being with others.
Kwaruza smiled at the lioness and nodded her head.
"Everything is in order! I hope you enjoy your life in the pride. If you don't mind I need to get this one off to bed. Please make yourself at home." She smiled and with a nod turned and herded her back to the den and to bed!
