((I dunno...later today, maybe? The weekend so that I can actually put stuff together, including a kickin' rad opening post that gets us going in the right direction? I don't think I'll get as much homework over the weekends.))

With a long smoke dangeling over her lip, Genesis heaved her belongings over her shoulder, sustaining it there with one hand, stuffing the other into her pocket. She sighed angrily as she stared out the doorway of her home. The crowds were moving quickly, each carrying all their lives with them. Most concealed them well, but the marks were more noticable on others. Those standing by - those without the marks - watched as they left the village. Most looked happy. Relieved. Genesis growled as her brow furrowed.
Just as she was taking her first step to join the movement, some weight nearly caused her to trip over her self. Looking to the source, she saw a bundle of coal black hair. She pulled her hand out of her pocket and combed her fingers roughly through her little brothers hair, ruffeling it to an even worse state.
He didn't say anything - just held her tightly. It seemed he had payed attention when she was telling him how actions speak louder than words. But Genesis sighed sadly this time. She dropped her bag on the sandy ground and used both hands to grab Jacks' shoulders and force him from her, then crouching down to his height.
"Jack, we've been through this." she spoke calmly but stern. "I have to go. That fuc-" she quickly stopped herself, remembering to mind her words around her younger brother. "-the King, has made an order. We obey, or we suffer the consequences!" he looked angry and pouted. A pout she would usually get irritated with but found some empathy this time.
"Your strong! Why can't you just fight him! Then you won't have to leave!" he yelled at her, liquid now forming in his eye. Nothing sounded like a question, just imperatives. Genesis scoffed and then stood up so she was looking down on him again.
"Because I don't own an army and he does... And what have I taught you about crying!?" Genesis folded her arms and stared at him with overpowerment. Jack frantically rubbed his eyes with his arms before looking as stern as she.
"Good" she said proudly. She bent back down to his level, "Now that I'm gone, you have to look after mom, okay? You have to be the strong one and protect the family." serious tones were coming out now. "Can you do that, Jack?"
He hesistated and began to stutter. "B-But-"
"I said 'Can you do that, Jack'!?" she commanded military like. Jack straightened up and nodded hastily. "Good" she replied. Quickly, she grabbed him, pulling him into her chest and wrapped her arms around him in a strong hug"Look after yourself, Jackie" she whispered softly before pushing him off, grabbing her bag and merging with the moving crowd.
Her fingers pressing against her cigarette, she took a long drag, inhaling all she could. Another f*cking adventure begins... she thought as the smoke floated from her lips.

As she pushed him off Jack happened to bump into Sally
"Opps, my fault" Sally blushed, before she was pulled away
"Who the heck yoou think you are-I ought to knoc you one good time ya twerp" Serrenedy snarled, she picked him up "Go FAR away, and you better not try to hurt her again or I SWEAR Her hand turned into a talon as the wings started to grow. As he left she turned to see her sister glareing at her. "He-he was a threat." She murmered
"Oh silly, it was an acsedent" Sally glared but patted her sister's head when she looked remorseful. "You didn't mean it"

Genesis was walking with the crowd lazily, but she didn't get far when she heard some heated talk. When she glanced back, she noticed a small girl holding Jack up. Genesis snarled loudly, startling everyone around her in the crowd. She pushed and shoved everyone out of her way as she darted towards the two girls - never taking her glare off them for an instant.
Once out of the mob of +Anima, Genesis furiously sprinted her way over to the girl who had touched Jack. "Hey, you little punk!" she yelled at her as she ran before standing over the girl and glaring down at her with her brows furrowed and eyes slanted on an angle. "Touch my little brother again..." she growled, her claws shooting out. "...and I'll cut your f*ckin' head off!"
Genesis was used to this sort of thing - her little brother was picked on quite a lot. Most of the time it was because he had a +Anime sister... most of the time it was her fault. But that didn't stop her from losing it every time she had seen the cuts and bruises or heard of what they had been saying to him. She would protect him no matter what - even if it meant beating up a little girl.

Life is pain.Mari stood like a stone in rapids, letting the other +Anima pass her by as she stared up at the castle. Ever since she had become a homeless +Anima, she had lived there, being taken care of by the princess. Now that the princess was gone, the +Anima had to leave the castle, too.
She wouldn't miss it.
Finally, after a few psychological speculations, Mari turned to follow the crowd, already dreading what happened afterwards. She would have to find a group to enter, as the best way to find a missing person was to split up and search across a broad area. Everyone knew that. But for protection, they had to go in groups. So, Mari would have to do something she hated:talking to people.
It wasn't long before Mari came across a problem that seemed to be caused by two people being overly protective of younger siblings. Quietly, she walked over to them, and said, almost in a whisper, "You two seem to be getting along. Are you teaming up?" Anyone who tells you differently is selling you something.

"Tell you'r *am*Brother to stay away form my *uc*ing sister" Serrenedy challenged back-talons out as her wings swirled up. Sally wedged herself in between them and in a few sedonds they were pushed away by the shell. She was the only one to hear the new girl as Serrenedy was telling the kids sister-in some very colorful languge exsatly what she could do with her oaf of a brother. "Hi-um I'm Sally, nice to meet you, hey-hear her, team up...that works, that way we'd find the princess sooner. She winced as Serrenedy flew on top of the shell and it sunk back into her skin to reaper once she was in the middle of them agian.

A smallish boy perked as he walked past. He smiled at the grouping and exclaimed "You guys are teaming up? A lot of people are - but so far they all look like it's not working very well...."
He moved closer to the smaller of the girls, and held out a work-worn hand. "My name is Devyn - And you're Sally? That's a pretty name. Normal. Not like Devyn - that's why I'd like you to call me Davey."
His dark eyes twinkled in the light, as he ruffled his hair a little, nervous.

I Suffer Mornings Most Of All I Feel So Powerless And Small By Ten 'O Clock, I'm Back In Bed Fighting The Jury In My Head... It was a startlingly sunny afternoon in the grounds of the castle, and Pippa was not enjoying it. Curled into a tiny ball and wedged into a small hollow beneath the great towering arch of the main gate, her eyes followed the hectic gathering of people and +Anima buzzing noisily around the courtyard. Of course, it was not normally this busy; but then, this was far from a normal day. In the quickest, most complete way, the Princess had vanished, and now there was no-one to speak up for the many +Anima seeking sanctuary in those sturdy stone walls. They were homeless.
As the crowd grew larger, Pippa tried to draw herself further and further into the thick shadow of the pillars, pulling her knees up into her chest until she could barely breathe. It seemed everyone was panicking, in some form or another. Young kids were darting through the forest of legs, crying for a guardian that wasn't going to answer, and the older +Anima were beginning to draw together, unmistakeably looking for strength in numbers. It wouldn't be long before the guards began to tire of the commotion and begin to throw people out by less democratic means, and everyone had begun to sense it; slowly, they were filing out into the streets, and their eyes were either bright, defiant or wide with fear.
Still, Pippa could not quite believe that she couldn't stay. Somehow, it seemed possible in her mind that maybe if she hid in the shadows and caused no trouble, they might not force her away like the others. Better yet, if the courtyard eventually emptied, she might be allowed to sleep. Oh, how nice it would be to sleep...
Burying her head in her arms as best she could, her onyx-coloured eyes fell to the small group that had stopped in the street outside the main arch. They seemed to be shouting at each other, but the words were lost in the din of the many others calling and clattering across the cobbled stone. One of them looked suddenly familiar; yes, Pippa was certain she had seen the small, white-haired girl around the castle corridors early in the mornings, just as she herself was preparing for bed. She didn't think that they had ever spoken, as Pippa was not a girl of many words, but it seemed plausible that they might have exchanged a friendly smile, perhaps a quiet greeting as they passed once?
There was her solution. Pippa allowed herself to relax the tiniest bit, her arms loosening their grip, but made no move to reveal herself. Her gaze burned into figures of the group, nervous that they might try to make a move out of her sight. She would not make her presence known for as long as she could manage, certainly - but maybe, if she tried to stay close to her only source of familiarity in a world now threatening to swallow her entirely, she could find a way to stay safe... Don't Judge Me."Hello sir, you sir. May I have the time? MY watch seems to have stopped, and it won't seem to wind." The young man gave a famous smile towards the gentleman. As the man looked away, a quick hand movement left the young man. The watches were exchanged, without any suggestion that the older man noticed. Smiling the older gentleman gave the time than was on his merry way. Rein took the time to admire the new watch that he had acquired. A marvelous pocket watch, mostly gold if he had to guess. It would fetch a very high price. Upon looking around, A small scrap seemed to have brought itself about. A smile curving over his lips, Rein moved towards the bought, seeing as among them was at least one +Anima. "What is going on here?"Your not perfect either.
