Literacy is a good thing to have. But, if you don't mind me asking, what made you make it a rule? I have my own guild too and I made it literate so I like asking other people about it.

Ah, it is nice to be able to read literate posts. I try hard, but spelling is not my strongest area. Other than that, though, I am pretty literate.
Thank you for making this guild good for the eyes. 3nodding
Also, I talk wierd too sometimes, so you are not alone. XD

Thank you so much. It's nice to have a break from all the chatspeak, isn't it?

When I made my Twilight guild last week, I made the first rule that members had to be literate, because even though some people think it's a pain, I, like this wonderful guild, know the importance of it...
You guys... Ok, I was a junior in high school last yeah, and get this: I was in my English III class one day and we were doing TAKS prep (that's our yearly standardized test required by the government), and we have this little story, two paragraphs long, and we're supposed to find the 10 mistakes in it. Right away Kyra and I notice there's one sentence that says something blah blah blah 'me and *name* blah blah blah. I can't remember the context, but needless to say that the proper phrasing would have been *name* and I. So we tell our teacher, who then spends five minutes discussing it with a class of 16-18 year olds like they know and she doesn't and finally ends the conversation with 'I think that it's right the way it is, Mia' Then she can't find the tenth error, so I say "It's the me and *name*" and she gets onto me and says that she's the teacher, she said it was fine, and that she thought she knew what she was talking about...
