scream Nah, you're mistaking Vicious for Spike, Vicious will more likely snub her rather than be distracted. xd Anyways, maybe we could also change the means by which the zanpakutos were released. You know, something involving like, Hei's clumsy lieutenant accidentally messing something up that caused a wide arc of a mysterious nature to radiate across Seiretei thus freeing the zanpakutos... something like that. xd That's acctually probably the best way to go about it, in my oppnion. An experiment goes wrong and poof! Zampakuto mayhem! That way no one is really at fault... just the experiment's creator. sweatdrop

THIS IDEA IS AWESOME~
The idea itself is approved, now we just have to organize the whole thing. I agree with Hei/Tsukiko messing up with something, giving things explanations would be a good thing. And we get to RP as our zanpakutos. Yay! [Although my zanpakuto is also lazy like me... so there's probably no difference. XD]

Like why the zanpakutos can't kill shinigami-- or if you want they could. And why the zanpakutos can't go back to their owners, and all the other technical blabber-dabber.

Oh yeah, the technical stuff. Well we could say it's the side-effect of the failed experiment. =D
But how would that explain where their leader came from? Would we have a different character who isn't from a zanpakuto or could we just use a bossy zanpakuto soul? XD

I was gonna submit the idea of Kagezume, the spirit of the black half of my Zanpakutō, as being the leader, simply because of his ability to render other powers useless, that and he's somewhat suited for it.
However, I sometimes lack in the leadership department so... bleh.

If you guys think otherwise, post your suggestions here. I don't know much about anyone's zanpakutos. I'd have to read your profiles again/dig deep in my mind to remember them. Well, your zanpakutos personality isn't really stated in your profiles so I wouldn't know. xP

Yes but there are those that are different from the shinigami's 'outward' personality. An example would be Hisagi and his zanpakuto spirit Kazeshini, but there are also those that are quite similar example is Matsumoto and Haineko. And last are those that are not similar, but not exactly opposites as well, like Ichico and Zangetsu.

I believe that Zangetsu is the kind that makes up for what Ichigo lacks. 3nodding So pretty much there are three types. Similar, opposites and the completion types.
