Lulu squealed under his paws, her tiny red eyes squeezed shut. She was afraid now, this mean scary male was hurting her. She certainly didn't like it. She started to cry, her little tiny tears spilling over her cheeks. She was frightened and all this fear and anger in the air was starting to overwelm her. She crouched when he let go, burbling her pity and upset into the dirt.
She looked up when he spoke of hurting Moray and she quickly stood, her tiny tears now huge. "No-pweeease!" She cried, racing up to him and wrapping herself around his back paw in an attempt to keep him away from her Mother. "Pwease, don't hurt My Mommy... I'm s-s-s-sowwy." She cried, tugging on his dark back leg. "I'll come to your cave! I'll be a good girl. I'm sowwy!"
Moray could barely take seeing lulu crying. She started to rise from her crumpled form in an attempt to rescue her daughter. Her front legs wobbled under her, as the blood trickled down around her belly and dripped onto the ground. "No-Lulu... Please don't hurt her!?" She said in a rather scratchy voice. A lioness stepped up to help support her, but she shrugged her off. "Please.. don't take my child... take me instead!" She said, her purple eyes half lidded in her misery.
"I'll come to your cave... I will do anything you wish... just leave my Lulu alone... "

Oh, this was just precious. The lioness was standing up to him, slowly and weak, with probably the only bit of power she had. The little cub was holding to him, pleading to him to go to his cave, and all the females around him were torn. They were helpless. If he gave in and took the lioness, she would be relieved and would feel she had made a worthy sacrifice. No. He wasn’t about to make her look like a hero. He knew better. This lioness was no good. The cub however was just led astray to think she should sacrifice herself for her mother. The bonds of family were twisted as far as he was concerned.
Pausing, he looked dead at Moray, and lowered his paw. “Why would I want a lioness who doesn’t take orders and can barely stand. No. Your daughter is lovelier. ” he said, wanting to see her torn apart.
Looking down, he smiled to the little cub. “Well, if you want to come to my den, who am I to deny you. Just let me make this one point clear. If you run off after this to find your mommies, both of them will be found and punished for lying to me. If you want to stay with me, you have to stay with me. Leaving means YOU were the liar, and I don’t like liars. ” Smiling, he leaned down and gave a lick to the cub’s ear before rising. “Come cub. Let’s go home. ” He smiled, before reaching down and walking, passing the lioness as he did. “Don’t try coming after her, or I’ll kill you for taking my property. ” Eyes narrow, he walked, turning to make sure the cub was following him.

Lulu held fast onto his back leg, her cheek pressed against it. Anything to save her Mommies pretty purple eyes. Anything... She looked up at him from around his leg, her paws slipping off as she let go. She sat down, nodding quickly. Anything-anything for her Mommies. She stood up, looking to her Mommy Moray with a sort of a sad expression. For one, she didn't want to go but her own personality made her sacrifice herself for her Mommy.
She followed him past Moray, her head lowered, but quickly looked up and went back to Moray, rubbing against her face. "I'll be okay... Tell Mommy I am okay-okay?" She said, bravely giving her mom a lick.
Moray couldn't believe this. She was devastated. She knew he wouldn't hurt her precious child. Even he wouldn't do that. There was no point Moray. She was too weak. She could do nothing to defend her child.
As Lulu ran up to her, she rubbed her cheek against her... tears starting to roll down her pale cheeks. "Be good love..." She said softly, giving her daughter a lick. A lick of pure emotion. She then lowered herself to the ground-giving up.
Lulu then backed away from her Mommy and then padded over to the Brown male. She would do anything for her Mommy.. even if it meant sharing a den with this stupid male for a while. "Okay..." She said, as though to confirm things.

It was sickening how they coddled each other, but it was part of the moment. The sense of loss was there. He could see it even through his crimson eyes. When the cub returned, he nodded and walked away. “Trust me, cub. We’ll have lost of fun.” And with that, he led her away from her mother, her family, and to his den.
