Athalia never liked the way Victor treated her. Always a pet she was, there when he wanted her and invisible when he didn't. She toyed with him. Hoping to make him angry and feel unwanted as he always made her feel she wrapped her arm around Micheal's waist and purred into his ear, "He couldn't hurt you if he tried."

"I don't see why not," Athalia said releasing him.
Victor flashed his fangs and hissed. "You very well know I could!" he roared.
Athalia laughed and leaned back against the wall. "We'll see Victor. We'll see."

Victors stomach dropped but he calmed himself. His eyes narrowed and he smiled viciously. "Bare hands. And we'll see how far you get without your over sized toys to protect you," he said.
Athalia felt a calming feeling settle over the room. Victor was using his power and manipulating everyone's feelings. She had no idea what she was doing to Micheal. She knew he often made his opponents angrier just to make it fun, but she wasn't sure this time. "Victor! Play fair!"
His eyes flickered from Micheal and his lips curled into a sneer. "Now when have I ever done that love?"
She just growled at him, ready for someone to kick him to the moon.

Victor fell back when the other vampire tackled him. He hissed and his fangs came down, long and sharp. "You prat!"
He pushed him off and rolled away, hissing at him and his eyes turning crimson red. "You wanna play rough?" he snarled, pulling his silver knife from his boot. "We'll play rough."

As he lunged at Victor, Victor swung his knife at him just barely grazing Micheal's arm. The fell to the ground again when Micheal's body hit his. A punch to the face was all he had to do to piss Victor off. He growled low through his clenched teeth.

Athalia latched on to Victor's mind and weakened him, taking a step closer to him. "Victor I swear if you even make a move to kill him I will snap your neck."
Victor snarled and made a move to lunge at Micheal, but Athalia kicked him away. He slipped out of her mind grasp and made another lunge for Micheal, this time planting his knife in his stomach, not injuring him as much as he wanted to, but it would do for now.

Victor snatched his knife and backed up. Athalia gaped at the man in utter amazement.
"Wha-what are you?" Victor stuttered.
