Zebulon watches the female closely, catching all the subtle nuances and fleeting expressions on her face. He offers her a slight bow, tail feathers adding a small flourish, hiding all but the slightest hint of a smile. "My dear, you are, and always will be, a Princess. And no beta that I've met would deserve it more than you."
He moves in close again, swirling around her form, letting fin and feathers brush across her scales in a symphony of sensations, ending up face to face. He is almost close enough to kiss her, staring her in the eye as a forefin comes up to flutter against her cheek, "My dear, I am no white knight. All the courtly airs I display can never truly hide the shadows on my soul. But if a dark knight is what you seek, then I am here before you, and I put myself at your disposal. I will rescue you and take you away from here."
He pauses, watching her carefully, then offers his fin to her, "Is this what you wish, my Princess?"

She leans into ever caress, letting the smooth texture of the feathers gloss over each of her scales. Void just barely resists the urge to spin around and follow as he circles her, to preserve the skimming contact that sets her soul alight.
"I hold no treasures, nothing of monetary value," she twitches her fins, pushing her that little bit further to brush their noses together, "but my heart could be yours to hold, to cherish," she moved her fin up, almost gracing his, but leaving it hovering for one more moment, "The dark I know well, but you are still a mystery, you are that one part I would love to reveal for my evermore." Only then did she let her fin fall into his, and let her face fall that minuscule space left between their lips. Her mind was clouded, having never experienced a kiss before; it was as if her entire world has slipped between his lips, and she was just starting to find it.

He keeps the kiss brief, though not quite completely chaste, that hint of rogue slipping through and causing him to try for just a little more. When he pulls back, he's wearing that rakish little smile of his while watching her reaction and murmuring softly, "And so it is sealed, as in the tales, with a kiss."
He speaks now in a somewhat louder voice, though no less polite tone. "Then it is settled. You are mine, Princess...and I am yours. Forever. Come with me now, Void, and I will open your eyes to an entirely new world. One of dark, muted brilliance and shadowy love."
He extends his fin to her, with that same smile upon his face.

She hums contently as he pulls away from her. It was enough to capture her heart forever, that one short brush of lips. Her eyes sparkled with the blossoming love in her.
"I must truly be your Princess then, forever and always."
She clutched at his fin as if it would give her life. Now was her last chance to run away, her last chance to run to her mother's waiting arms. But no, her dark prince was far too tempting. The life he promised her was too illustrious and full of all the wonders she could ever wish to have.
"Please, oh sir, show me your world of promise."
One day she would venture home, to the dank cavern her parents held, but not yet. Not until she had carved her own niche in the ever expanding waters.
