Tony Iommi. End of story. There are many great guitar players out there, but he was the reason I picked up a guitar. Other people that inspire me include Carlos Santana, Ritchie Blackmore, Angus Young, and Zakk Wylde.

Bullet MickJagger For Guitar I'd say, Dave Grohl George Harrison Andy Summers Eric Clapton John Lennon Keith Richards dramallama Praise to Him With Strings...
John Lennon, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Rhandy Rhoads, Tony Iommi, Peter Townshend, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Satch, Brain May, and too many others to name. Lennon, Page, Slash are mainly what you can hear as my influence. Some how I fused the bluesy british rock with a love of dark heavy tonality.
...oh, by the way I'm Awesome!

Mark Tremonti was the one that inspired me to pick up the guitar. Pete Loeffler from Chevelle is also an influence, he's written some good riff that inspired me to not try too hard to be a soloist. Jerry Horton from Papa Roach is another.

Tommy Emmanuel. No doubt for me. His songs are so beautiful, mysterious, and captivating. How he manages to orchestrate such full and rich sounds with two hands and a block of wood amazes me.

I couldn't name all of the people that inspired me. It was cumulative. My family was sort of lame when it came to music. I grew up on oldies, like the Beatles and Elvis. I guess they thought everything else was the devil's music or something. Later it was Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and AC/DC. I'd say AC/DC is probably my biggest inspiration right now. It's close between them and Zeppelin. Therefore my favorite guitarists are Jimmy Page and Angus Young.

So far it's Slash from Guns N Roses. The intro to "Sweet child O' Mine" is awesome.

It's going to sound cheesy, but my guitar teacher has been my biggest influence. When I was 10 I used to only want to play what was on the radio.(Linkin Park, Eminem, other stupid s**t, etc) Instead of doing that, he took me under his wing and introduced me to classical guitar. 8 years later, I am going to college pursuing my dreams, majoring in performance for classical guitar, and I know I would not be doing that if it weren't for him.
