Evil clucked her tongue, lowering her sword. She brought her tail around to her front and inspected it. She snorted a laugh. She had gotten more blood on her tail than her Zanpakto this time. That was new. She flicked it sharply behind her, getting rid of most of the blood.

She strolled over to Lunami, a little cautiously. Some people liked to fight with their opponents still whil they were in their spirit's world, so, she waited to see. She perched herself on a nearby stump, her tail swishing softly.

{Sorry it took so long >< I hope you read this captain xP}
Lunami awoke to a large area. He wasn't quite sure where yet. The sky was covered in the dark blue blanket of night. Stars could be seen throughout, and a bright moon emblazoned against the sky. Atfirst, everything seemed normal, but something still didn't seem right. A volcanoe towered the scenery of the night sky, surrounded by a thick forest, much like the one before this. Around the towering mountain lay a moat of hot springs. Opposite the valcanoe, he saw what had to be the most stunningly magnificent temple he had ever laid eyes on. The torii in front had the deepest color of red he had ever seen, be it in cloth, paint, paint, or nature. He neared it, and noted there were several others. walking through the majestic gate as he saw two white statues of foxes that stood before it. "The messengers?" Lunami couldn't help but think this was a shrine to Inari, but he pressed on, past the torri pathway to a large shrine.

He soon found himself nearing a large shrine, again, outside, were to foxes, made of the brightest metals he had ever laid eyes upon. One of steel, the other, of silver, both with red cloth tied around their neck. His eyes once again gazed up at the moon, and he noted the pecualiarity from before. The moon, was on what appeared to be fire. Azure and white, much like a foxfire. Some things were starting to make sense. This was clearly the realm of his Zanpaku-toh. All the imagery was somewhat symbolic of the blade itself, he having forged it from steel and silver, as these two foxes before him. The red cloth signified being a myobu under Inari. And was why he placed it on his hilt. He always had an affiliation to the moon, it was actually a reason for him to place silver in the sword. He continued to think to himself for a few moments. However, soon, a thought struck that right now, even though his leg was fine here, he could very well be bleeding to death in the material plane. "I'd best hurry this up I suppose... I'd rather not die before I finish this."[/b} He soon felt himself laughing. "Hopefully Captain Evil would protect me from dying, at least from something as petty as blood loss... she does have Black Fire... suppose a burn would suffice in stopping the bleeding... I'm somewhat unconscious anyway... maybe it won't hurt till I wake up?" He continued to think over that, but decided it best to not do so. Even if she did, he still had a leg to contend with after this ordeal would be over.

The sandaled feet carried him inside the shrine, where inside, he found several interesting items. There were three statues placed along an altar, and each of him. There was one with seven tails, eight taile, and lastly one with nine. He assumed that these would disappear as he assumed the one through six did. On another, there was the same, but a more fox like creature, again, the same tails as earlier. He pondered this thought a moment, before moving on inside the shrine. He found the normal arrangements one could find in a shrine. He came to what he believed to be the center of it. A large fox like creature, just like those on the outside. He seemed to be a statue, made of a stone he'd never seen. It was white, and very much slick. Almost as if he was covered in smooth white sand. It etched every detail, down to the fur's individual hair. Lunami couldn't place the significance yet, and sat down before this being and meditated on it.

Thoughts began to race through his mind as he sat there, silent, trying to place this being. After no luck, he decided to go to the very origin of his Zanpaku-toh, and how he had created it. And then, he realized it, it had to be Lunar-Une, his most primal nature. He stood, then kneeled before it. Lunar-Une had become the spirit of his sword. A smile came across his lips as he bowed gently, kneeling before his 'alter ego'. He stood once again, and raised a hand. An orb of fire blazed, as he slowly enlarged it, enveloping Lunar-Une in it. He sat down once again, slowly meditating as the fire burned before him against the statue. He figured he needed a bit of fire before waking up, as Lunami needed fire to get new energy. He waited a few moments, before he could feel the power surge through Lunar-Une. The fire slowly began to disappear, and become absorbed into the statue. A moment then passed, as Lunar-Une's statue began to glow a
similar color to his foxfire. Azure blue and white blazed along him, shattering the stone-like encasement. "It's been a long time, Lunar-Une." He mentally projected the words to the creature as it sat there, covered in fur, it's tails swaying back and forth.

"A long time indeed. And I see you've attained six, and yet three remain. You're still a weakling. You're making me weak with you, I'd prefer if you fixed this." Lunar-Une snarled at Lunami, saliva dripping from his muzzle as he did so. His pelt matched Lunami's. The silver white fur ran along him, from ear to his tails, slowly to their red tip. He was annoyed. Part from Lunami's 'weakness', and another to the fact he had thrown him inside of this sword, only to be released now. "So, what do you want here, why are you in my realm, now, after all of this time."

"Some rules have changed it seems. I've made it to a place called theSoul Society. Right now in the material plane, I'm to be learning something known as 'Shikai', advancing this sword, yourself, and I. Although, at present time, I'm currently knocked out, which appears to be a catalyst for appearing here. Supposedly, I hear that you're to perform a sort of test before I can attain this ability, allowing us to, in a sense, fight side by side."

"I see... Shikai, first release... this I can teach you, should you so accept the challenge." Lunar-Une's tails widened apart, his muzzle grinning into a smile baring his all white teeth. His fur on his pelt glistened in the glow of the foxfire around him. He awaited an answer, and seemed to be waiting for it.

"Well, seeing as how I could very well be dead if we don't hurry this, I just have to accept." Lunami smiled as well, awaiting for the new experience. He sat where he had remained, and didn't move, save for the breaths he drew in, awaiting for Lunar-Une to do something.

Lunar-Une smiled, and lunged at Lunami before he could react, and took possession of his body, and it was from inside where he spoke. "We'll have some fun now, I'm going to tear your soul apart, lest you can drive me out once again. We've both gotten stronger, but let's see who shall win... The noble Myobu, or the primal Lunar-Une." And thus the trial began.

Lunami's body began to shake, and he felt as if he was literally being torn apart. He tried to maintain his steady position, but every attempt had failed. In some parts, he could feel his clothing and skin ripping. Blood splattered along the floor and himself. Shreds were made in the skin as he could feel some flesh being torn from him. He gathered his will and attempted to steady his spirit, of this, seemed to be the only thing he managed to accomplish. He took back his meditative position. Legs folded atop each other, back straightened, and his eyes closed. Moans of pain left through his mouth as he could still feel the flesh being torn and the blood leaving him. His concentration filtered through the pain as he then sat in silence. His body going through what could perhaps be one of the worst possible feelings one could have. He could feel claws tearing at him from the inside, tearing at organs inside. But this too, he tried to ignore. The feelings had to go away, and there was only one way to do this. He had to expel him the same way he had done so before. Though, this should be easier, seeing as now they were two completely different beings because of the sword. He took some of
his own blood, and wiped it along his forehead, drawing an enneagram, the same symbol that rested in the guard of his Zanpaku-Toh, his own sacred symbol. He enveloped himself in the azure foxfire, much like the moon outside was covered in. Imbuing it with his reiatsu. Although he retained conscious control, whatever he felt, Lunar-Une had to have felt as well. The option Lunami had to do now, was to cause more pain to Lunar-Une, than Lunar-Une could do to him. He focused the fire to place where he could he could feel the fox run through him. until he could feel it in his leg, the same one that remained broken on the material plane. He placed the foxfire on this leg, and created a block through the upper part of his leg, attempting to keep him out. He intensified the heat to where it was unbearable, but he had no choice right now. He moved his leg away from him, allowing it to burn out the fox from within.

Moments passed in what felt like hours. He didn't know how much longer this would take, and began to hope for it to end soon. Another moment, and soon he had felt a rushing pain fly through him, as the fox leapt out of his body, so too burned. He fell to his place where he stood as a statue, and looked at Lunami.

"You've driven me out, for now. I shall give you what you came for." Lunar-une bowed low, and then lay down before Lunami. His tails began to sway. "I shall heal your wounds I've placed on your spirit, as well as the ones you've given to drive me out. But, you still have your material wounds to deal with." And as he said, Lunar-Une's tails began to sway as a light appeared from them, almost like a foxfire. He was concentrating his magick to fix the wounds. Soon the blood that fell from him returned, and the burned barks on his legs healed. The flesh returned and patched nicely to the area that had once been removed. It wasn't a painless operation, but it worked just as he said it would. "Now, before you leave, you must learn one thing... The name of this sword. 'Hijouni Atsui Gatsu', the 'Burning Moon'. Now, go and tend to your wounds. And become stronger, lest you have to do this again."

"I shall." He bowed to Lunar-Une before standing to leave. Walking just as he had when he entered. He walked further, and noticed a change. Above the entrance, he noticed a large statue, one of both Lunami, and Lunar-Une, side by side. He smiled, and walked once again along the path of toori. He walked with a slight grace in his step, almost as if he had a newfound confidence. A smile grew larger along his face, and once he past the last toori, he woke up, once again in the material plane.

His eyes slowly widened as he felt the pain throb in his leg, but he didn't feel it as anything worse than a slight bug bite. He sat up, and noticed his tail still covered along it, wrapped tightly. He looked around for the captain, before finding her sitting nearby on what he thought to be a tree stump, or a rock. Either way, he couldn't tell due to the lang hakama and captain's Haori that cloaked her.

"How long was I out?" Lunami asked, quite curious. His three tails wrapped around his legs, as he used them to stand, making him taller
than usual, but it'd allow him to stand, if not while waiting for his leg to recover when he made it to squad four. He placed the Hijouni
Atsui Gatsu into it's saya once again, and held them both tighly in his right hand.

Evil looked up. She had been thinking of other things, waiting to see if Lunami would wake up. It seems he had. With a wry grin she stood and strolled over to him, looking down at his leg with his tail wrapped around it.

"You were out for about two hours. Not too bad, pretty fast actually. The average is about four hours I believe. And, if you don't mind, I already took the liberty of calling a medic." She said calmly. With a wave of her hand, a Hell Butterfly fluttered onto her fingertips, followed closely by a puffing Squad 4 Member.

The young man bowed quickly to her, then rushed over to Lunami, pulling out his small bag of medical supplies. He began to fuss over Lunami's leg, gesturing that he should unwrap his tail from it.

"Truly now, two hours you say... Odd. Felt like forever. By the way... let's not have me get knocked out again." Lunami smiled over to the captain as she continued talking about the medic. The next thing he knew, a member from squad four had appeared. As he asked for Lunami to remove his tail, he gradually held himself up with the tails, and held himself up with them, holding out his leg for the medic to take care of. It seemed to have stopped bleeding, but it still looked in rather bad shape.

After some poking and prodding, the medic stood up, apparently having finished their job. He asked Lunami to try and stand, and slowly, he felt himself descend onto the ground. He stood on his legs again, and his leg seemed fine. He looked over to the medic.

"I suppose it'd still be a good idea to not overexert it anyway, correct?" The quiet medic nodded gently, and then. His attention then turned to Captain Evil's. "You know, I actually had a thought in there that you'd help with my leg when I got back out." He smiled, looking at the captain. "So, what now?"

Evil smiled guiltily.

"I'm not much for healing. My extent goes for binding minor wounds with Reitsu and helping them to heal faster with Werewolf saliva. So, unless you wanted me to lick your leg, I thought a medic would be better." She laughed.

"Well, if you want you can try out your Shikai on me, but if your leg hurts too much you don't have to."

"It's fine. I wouldn't have minded saliva, but my leg feels fine, I suppose I could try Shikai." Lunami looked down at the blade a moment. He held it up, his tails reaching for the ground, just in case he went through any of his issues like he had with his kidou training with captain Tansen. They held him securely down as he lifted the blade, still sheathed.

"Dance, ye foxen guard of the moon, Hijouni Atsui Gatsu!" He called, and soon both he and the sword burned with the color of his foxfire. It grew stronger, and soon the blade began to glow. He dropped it into the ground, and it fell saya down. It stopped it's glowing to reveal it's new transformation. The whole blade glowed with a faint aura of azure white, yet the blade itself remained a deep hue of red, much like the one he saw on the toori inside the realm. He began putting the pieces together at this moment, and the fit beautifully. The burning moon in the sky, the straight bath of the toori was the blade, the moon the name, and the temple was the heart and soul. He laughed a bit as he started to string things together. His hand reached forward, and he immediately felt a rush of power run through him. Part confidence, part something he hasn't felt in a long time. He pulled the blade from the ground, and held it up. Slowly, he could feel Lunar-Une inside of him again, however, this wasn't an issue of him attempting to subdue Lunami, but still, Lunami could feel an overwhelming effect of primal instinct.

"I should stop this..." He groaned, slightly weak from the rush of emotions and instincts. He could feel himself ready to attack, but halted it, and soon the zanpaku-toh returned to it's sealed state. "I think... it'd be best to train this elsewhere... Someplace... a bit more open, and seclusive." He returned the zanpaku-toh back to his side, and smiled at the captain, giving a slight bow. "Thanks ever so much for this. Perhaps eventually, I can fight without 'run and leap at me every time.'" His smile widened as he stood up once again.

"All right, if that is what you wish." Evil said. She flicked her tail behind her. She could smell his confusion of emotions coming off him, because, almost every emotion had it's own scent. Fear was metallic, anger was hot, etc. But, she didn't say anything about that. She just smiled pleasantly at him.

"Perhaps I shall train in the wastelands when my leg recovers. Well, I suppose this would be all then my captain? Unless you'd have anything left for me to know?" Lunami asked, sitting on his tails as if they were a chair, trying to keep the pressure off of his leg. He didn't want to leave without the Captain's say, so he stood still, waiting for the last words.

"No, if you think you can handle it by yourself, then everything should be fine. be careful with that eg though, it may hurt for awhile." Evil said with a wink.

She started to turn away, then halfway turned back to him.

"If you need any help, just let me know." She said, then shunpo'd away.

"Ahh, I see, and I think I just should." Lunami flashed a smile in response to her wink. He watched quietly as she leapt off with Shunpo, nodding at her final comment as she disappeared from site.

"Man... I wish I could use that. Took forever to get Shikai... I'm sure Shunpo would be much worse... Ah, oh well, guess I'll find out if I ever get to apply for it." He smiled again, and thanked the medic once again before he himself did as both he and the medic, and left. Using his tails to propel himself through the forest until he made it back to his area in Squad 10.
