Mufasa gave a small nod, he could understand - when he was younger, he would travel to his heart's content without worry, but he had no home when he was younger, and he wasn't... 'mature' yet. It was all fun and games before you found yourself in a crazed cult that was specifially made for killing. But that was besides the point.
"I was just going to," Mufasa remarked sadly. I think I've been in this place way too long, I'm getting old and I still don't have a mate," The older lion gave a cluck of his tongue and shook his head. Twas quite sad.

"Oh." It didn't shock Mauja too much. With all the lions out in the world, not all of them could have their happy ending just yet. "I'm sure someone will find you." It was Mauja's philosophy that if one goes looking for something, then it will never be attained. Things always had a way of settling into place how they should, and so far, it hadn't let Mauja down.
"I wonder if my little ones will grow up to have mates." Mauja could only hope. Thinking about them from far away made him sad that he wasn't there right then, watching them grow and learn and make friends.

A rumbling chuckle erupted from Mufasa's throat as he watched Mauja. "You should go watch them grow, Mauja, they don't stay young for long. If you have any daughters, you'll probably have to beat all the males away from them," he gave the cheetah a wink and turned to push himself up.

"I suppose I should." His mind drifted to his little ones. He had five girls and three boys. Man. FIVE. GIRLS. He wasn't quite sure how he'd handle them, being how he was, but he just hoped that he would make an amazing father to all of them.
"Yeah, my girls are pretty freakin' adorable." He smiled broadly. If there was something he did well, it was making good looking cubs. "You should meet them, the next time I see you." He turned, readying himself to leave. "But for now, I suppose I'll see you." His paws drifted in the direction he knew his home was.

Mufasa gave a small nod and watched the younger male go off to his family - a slight look of longing crossed his features and he wished for a family of his own. "I'll be sure to drop by," he told the male and started off in a different direction, planning on finding a new place to call home for a while.
