The one-pride twin's ears twitched. His nostrils flared as he took a deep breath. His began to growl slightly, fur trying to stand on end. It was a very famaliar smell, of a 'family' member that he rather disliked. But it wasn't completely right, so he let the growl die and he dragged himself to his paws. He was rather big for a lion, taller than the average rogue but much scrawnier looking.
His gaze flicked first to the left, and then to the right. His brows raised as he spotted the coffee colored fur that was so famaliar in this lands. He took a deep breath and moved forward with out thinking.
He was glad that his twin was no longer with him, she would be so shamed at how soft he'd grown. He was a little shamed about it himself, sometimes. But he knew this was his life, it was pointless to try and change it farther. Some time ago he'd learned it was better to let the river take you where it will, than try and swim to the banks or upstream.
"Hey, you." He said, in a tone that wasn't friendly but it wasn't exactly how he used to speak, either.

At the sound of his voice, Bari shuddered. What did they want? Striving to open an eye, the juvenille just glared at the red. "Whatdo yew want?" She hissed slightly, curling herself around her body, hiding it from her uncle. But after she spoke, she was silent. Best not make an attitude to someone much bigger than you at the moment, right?

He wasn't so surprised to see it was his niece, two fold. Which was a little weird. One fold blood related, but two fold when it was just.. general family. His brow rose and he growled slightly.
"I could ask you the same thing. Where's your... mother?" He asked after a minute, not even bothering bringing up her scum-father.
His eyes flickered over her, wondering why she was curled up like that. Uumi had no idea about hurts and stuff on others, even though he should have some idea since he got hurt a lot.

"In the pridelands with the rest of her family I suppose." She shrugged the best she could, growling again right back at him. Her eyes rose again in a glare towards the male. After a moment, she decided she really didn't want to be in the company of htis male, so uncurling herself, she moved to back towards the hill, showing the extent of her injuries. A few scratches on her back legs which caused her to walk a bit funny, as well as the seemingly broken tail which sort of hung limply, dragging on the ground.

It was a pitty, because when he'd first met his neice he'd rather liked her. His gaze flicked over the back of her legs, and her tail. And despite the fact he'd rather be watching the clouds than helping her with that... she did need help. He knew what that was like, and he also knew what not being helped was like.
"What happened to you?" His voice was brash, a little demanding, but also upset. He began to follow after her.

The female didn't stop, but instead tried to speed up. She really didn't want to explain the fact that she was basically trampled in an attempt to prove to the white juvenille that she could too hunt the bigger prey animals that adults and adolescents could! Instead, she just made a hmph noise, her teal blue eyes looking down the now looking extrememly steep hill. Gulping, she looked over her shoulder before sitting.
"Why should you care what happened to me or not." She huffed. "It's not like anyone else does." She thought this about everyone. She was one to think that no one had cared about her, even though there were those back in her old home that begged to differ.

Uumi winced, he really didn't enjoy seeing himself in others. Especially others that were part... Denahi. "Well, aren't you the pouty one." He finally murmered out, his voice grown quiet and just relaxed. Still not friendly, but Uumi couldn't really sound friendly, tone wise.
"And who said I care? I am just curious." This may not help her feel better, but if she thought no one cared than she thought it, and saying that he cared wasn't going to change it. "If you won't talk about those then, why do you think no one cares? Or know, rather." He slowly sat himself a few feet away from her, giving her space. His firey gaze was on the lands that were not now his home.
