I'm way late to this post, but what if we didn't have artists necessarily dedicated to making comics at first. I think we need artists invested in cash shop items that would go into paying off artists. If the items are interesting enough, they'll be reliable enough. I know it sounds silly at first--- pay an artist to pay for an artist, but you could pay for the cash shop artist a certain amount and let's say it was an interesting 4 dollar item... multiply that by the TONS of users who pay for interesting 4 dollar items (4 dollars is just a number I threw out) then give comic/mini-comic artists percentages of those payments as they produce their work. Idk, a scenario like that... and it'll have that along with getting funds from people who know it'll be going into an interesting plot. Which I'm sure a lot of dedicated Gaians who wuv plot who wuv cash shop items wouldn't mind.
I r dumb in math, but I propose something along those lines. Not only do several people get hired for money, we get plot, cool cash shop items, etc
