Nightstar padded out of his den, greeting the warm sun. His amber eyes shone as he watched his clan and his tuxedo pelt blew in the cool breeze.

Thin rays of sun-light shined into the dark den of the ShadowClan leader, Tigerstar growled with annoyance. He stretched then peered outside of his den his cold amber eyes, his clan mates looked up at him in mixture of fear and respect. He glanced toward one cat in particular, a beautiful slim, silver she-cat with striking blue eyes. He noticed all the times staring at her with hungry eyes, he seemed to become even more annoyed. That was his sister and only the strongest tom he choice would be able to mate with her.
Willowblossom licked her delicate paw and brought it over her ear, the young she-cat yawned and noticed a few gazes from some handsome toms around her. She gave them a smile, she wished she had a mate, she wanted to be a mother more then anything, but her brother wouldn't let her till she found a strong enough mate.
Shadowhaze returned from hunting and dropped his prey in the fresh-kill pile. The young deputy looked around his camp to make sure everything was in order.
Moonfeather wrapped her bushy rose-colored tail around her paws and looked down at her herbs with bright violet eyes. She had finally finished sorting her herbs for the day. She sighed in relief and padded out of her den to get something to eat.

Icestorm stared up at his leader, his shoulders broad, his head held high. But no matter what he did to keep his icy blue gaze on his leader, his eyes drifted to Willowblossom. A purr rumbled softly in his throat as he stared at her.
Forestheart padded out of the warriors den and smiled when seeing Moonflower. "Greetings." She purred.
Phantommask yawned and opened her eyes to see Shadowhaze. She smiled at him and then got up, stretching. "Hello Shadowhaze."

Willowblossom caught Icestorm's gaze her ice-blue eyes stared into his for a split second before Tigerstar could notice.
Moonfeather smiled at her friend, "It's a beautiful day, is it not?" the medicine cat meowed cheerfully. She was always in a good mood, she was very young but she was very wise for her age.
Shadowhaze didn't talk much, only when necessary, "Hey..." he muttered in a quiet but eerie tone. He never raised his voice not matter how angry he was or how happy.

Icestorm smiled and then looked away. He knew that he needed to avert his eyes unless he had a death wish.
"It is." Forestheart purred. "Need help with anything?"
"What's up?" Phantommask asked him casually. She knew the tom didn't talk much but she wanted someone to talk to.

Hollyblaze walked into the camp and watched as Phantommask talking to Shadowhaze, her Shadowhaze. She stifled a low growl and sufficed with bringing him a piece of fresh kill that she had just caught. She let her shimmering jade eyes wander to Phantommask as she reached his side and set it down, a warning silently escaping. "Here Shadowhaze." She said softly, walking away quickly to go pick something up for herself as well. Knowing Shadowhaze didn't like to be crowded.
Solarstar walked out of her den with a large yawn, her white fangs glimmering in the sun. "Hello Moonfeather, Forestheart." She greeted them. She picked up a piece of fresh kill, her muscles rippling under her black pelt and her ocean blue eyes looking over her clan slowly. All seemed normal...
Fallenspirit returned with a hunting patrol and set down her fresh kill before walking to Tigerstar's side. "Hunting is going well." The young deputy informed her leader.
Cometblaze lay in the sun, his amber fur absorbing the suns rays.
Starshimmer was busy at work in her den sorting herbs. It seemed she had been sorting for the last dozen moons! She had no idea how hard it would be to set up camp in this new home... She looked out the moss curtain at the clan and wondered how they were adjusting.
Jaggedclaw ate his fresh kill in silence, watching as the clan moved about. He rarely hunted for them or did anything to help the clan get stronger, he avoided any work except training. Whenever he got an apprentice he would be sure to make them the strongest of their litter, he saw many of his previous apprentices and grinned, the clan was getting much stronger with his presense whether he did busy work or not. Now all he needed was another set of his kits with his own genes in them...
Aurora walked along her fence, greeting the cats from the neighbors yards and listening to the soft jingle of her collar. She yowled loudly as a dog barked from across the yard and hissed at it. She hated the big oafs, though living with them for so long she had learned how to speak with them... Some werent' to bad she supposed. She turned and went into her two leg's home, her snow colored pelt blending in with the tile. He blue eyes searching for the bowl of flavorless food she had grown so used to. She curled up in a ball in her lumpy old bed after dinner and closed her eyes to sleep, dark cats swimming through her memories.
Thornpaw curled up in his nest, his paws and muscles aching from a long training session with his mentor. He couldn't wait to get to sleep... He shut his eyes and was instantly thrown into the nursery, his small form shaking and frozen with fear as a large she cat ripped his litter mates into pieces with a demonic grin. "No!" He screamed, though he knew there was nothing to be done, they were gone...
Rosepaw busily ran around the camp checking for injuries or any signs of sickness, her daily job as a medicine cat apprentice. Her mentor was out in the forest gathering herbs, Rosepaw could only imagine how amazing it would be to be a full medicine cat. She stopped in the nursery and felt her eyes tear up slightly at the faded scent she had known all to well. Her foster mother had raised her with her own kits after Rosepaw had been taken in by Thunderclan as a small kit. She sometimes wondered if her foster mother had known more about where she came from then she told the rest of the clan... It was to late to ask now...
Mischief winced at a pain in her belly. "Nightmare can we slow down please?" she called to her twin brother who was busy chasing a rabbit. "Being pregnant isn't so easy on the paws!"
Nightmare growled as he missed his catch and turned back to his sister. "If you keep shooting your mouth off your kits won't have any food!" he shot back, though he slowed his pace dramatically. As much as he hated to admit it he worried about his sisters, one of which was traveling behind him abandoned by her old mate, the other of which he had not seen since she was a it. Her soft white pelt stood out against the darker twins of the litter, her blue eyes strange against their amber ones. Where could she be now?[/color

Shadowhaze shrugged and mumbled a thanks that was him being nice, he took a bite of the fresh-kill. He stared at the ground thinking of Scarletfeather, he hadn't seen her in so many moons but he couldn't stop thinking about her.
Moonfeather smiled at her leader, "Greetings Solarstar, who are you today?"
Tigerstar nodded, "Good, but we need to keep it that way Leaf-fall won't last forever." he muttered.
Willowblossom noticed her brother was busy with Fallensprit she headed quickly towards the entrance her whiskers just brushing against Icestorm's as she left the camp, hopefully he would follow.

Hollyblaze sat staring at the tom, always wondering what he was thinking. What kept him busy all the time. She remembered when they were young kits and both were being trained by Jaggedclaw and Shadowhaze had said that he loved her... It was so very many moons ago but she still remembered it. She had just assumed after he was made Deputy he didn't have time for her anymore... But was he with another she cat?
Scarletfeather looked around the empty cave she lived in, the scents of her pass long gone. She could still remember where her mother and siblings had lay the day she left to get food, the way she had found them mangled with bloody paw prints leading all the way back to Phantomclan, her fathers clan... She shook away the memory and finished sorting the herbs she had learned about as a kit before curling up in a ball and tucking her tail over her nose, images of her family swimming through her mind like it was yesterday...
Fallenspirit nodded. "I'll keep you posted." she said quietly before jumping down to get some food for herself.
Solarstar purred. "I'm doing well and you?" She asked politely.

Phantommask rolled her eyes at Hollyblaze. Jealous she-cat. I was just talking to him. Sheesh!
"Hello Solarstar." Forestheart purred, cleaning herself.
Icestorm looked over his shoulder after Willowblossom brushed past him. He followed, though not positive if she wanted him to.
Snowpetal sniffed through her herbs, sorting them into organized piles. There had been no injuries in her clan lately so the stock was full. The wind blew into her den, brushing across her snow white pelt. Her blue eyes glimmered. She loved the wind, it was one thing a blind cat could enjoy.
Nightstar smiled when seeing Rosepaw. "Hello Rosepaw. Busy as usual."

Featherpaw yawned and lifted her head up to see her mentor, Starshimmer. She stood up and shook the moss off of her pelt. "Good morning." She said.
Spiritnight's blue eyes trailed to Jaggedclaw. She narrowed her eyes. He never did anything except train apprentices when he was assigned and what was with his mates? They would have kits and then suddenly disappear. She vowed to figure out what happened to those lost mates without becoming one herself. A shudder shook through her as she thought of disappearing.
Eaglestrike purred as he watched his apprentice, Thornpaw, go into the den for rest. He was doing well. Eaglestrike wanted to make him the strongest apprentice he could be.
Morningpaw was in a deep sleep when he felt trembling and fidgeting beside her. She opened one blue eye to see Thornpaw trembling. Bad dream. She assumed and was about to prod him awake when he screamed out 'No!' in his sleep. She jumped in surprise, almost hitting the roof of the den and shook him viciously with her paw.

Thornpaw stared with wide ember eyes at Morningpaw, his claws unsheathed and his whole body shaking. He took a few deep breathes and sheathed his claws, embarrassed. "I'm sorry..." He mumbled.
Starshimmer smiled at Featherpaw and dipped her head. "Good morning Featherpaw."
Jaggedclaw stood and decided to go for a walk, he didn't need to tell the leader or bring anything back he was simply bored and wanted to get some food for himself.
Rosepaw nodded. "Yes it is." She grinned at the soft breeze ruffling her pelt.
Solarstar stared with wide eyes at her deputy. "What do you mean? Have cats been getting sick?"

Morningpaw cocked her head. "Are you alright? You seemed to be having a dreadful dream."
Featherpaw yawned again. "How's the clan doing?"
When Jaggedclaw left the camp, Spiritnight followed from a distance, keeping into the woods where he could barely scent and see him, not getting near the path. She didn't want to take any chances but she needed to take every chance she could to figure out what he was up to.
"Is the clan doing well?" Nightstar asked.
Forestheart shook her head. "Not yet... But I got a fish to eat this morning and it smelled strange. So then I went to the river and sure enough, it had the same strange song."
