Koishii: Her lovely mother. Growing up alone with her mom has taught Melanthe so many things about life. Koishii has made sure that she learn as many lessons as she can, and has always encouraged her to be the best that she can be at whatever she wants. Lucky for Mel, her mom is an incredible fighter, and has taught her everything she knows. The two have an incredibly strong bond after waiting for so long for her siblings to hatch, and she would do anything for her mom in a heartbeat.
Puck- At the point in time where Puck hatched, their father, Spectre had left them and their mother without a word. Koishii, being heartbroken and an unable parent then, allowed Melanthe and her adopted nephew Yasuragi to practically raise the boy together. Because of this, Melanthe almost looks at Puck as a son, rather than a brother, though, with how tight their relationship is, it would be hard to tell the difference between the two statuses, anyway. Mel, like her mom, worries about Puck-- But not because of his self-esteem. She worries mainly about his commitment issues, and tells him that he doesn't want to end up like their dad, and running of on his pups before all of them are born. Obviously, Melanthe is still a little sore about the subject.

Spectre- Loves her father just as much as her mother and was incredibly proud to be his daughter... Until the odd Kuni left with her mother's heart. Now she harbors a feeling of abandonment inside her chest that she refuses to acknowledge. She can get on fine without him. With her eyes as black as his eyes are not, they both have trouble looking at people directly in the eye, but Melanthe is getting over that... Or finding ways around it, rather. She often wonders if her father tries, too...

Yasuragi- A Kuniku that she admires from within the closet, and strikes up a conversation with every chance she gets, Yasuragi is one damn amazing adopted cousin. Mel loves picking fights with the older male just to get under his skin, though the fights usually end in dry humor and sarcasm to the max, so it's all good. They have so much in common (minus their age, haha), and Melanthe is finding it incredibly hard not to see Yasu as attractive-- Though, hey, they're not really cousins, so it doesn't count, right? ... Right?
