Although Cyrus was intent on proving himself as the stronger of the two, Nuke was an opportunist, and wasn't about to see himself muscled down already. Trying to get behind Cyrus quickly, he'd attempt to stomp on the knee of his opponent, trying to bring him down already.

Cyrus was stomped on the knee and fell forward.

His opponent already down, Nuke's ego was already boosted. He attempted to grasp both of Cyrus' arms and pull them back, pressing his knee in to his spine.

"Ahhh!" Cyrus winced as the painful submissive technique was applied.

Nuke tried to intesify the move, before letting go and aiming a kick to the lower back of the Champion.

Cyrus fell forward into the canvas and held his back in pain after the kick connected.

Nuke knew this was his time to try and capitalise. Dropping down to Cyrus' level, he attempted to push him down to the mat, going for a pin attempt.

The ref dropped down for the pinfall.

- Cyrus quickly kicked out before the ref could hit the second.

Nuke punched the mat in disgust with himself; he was foolish to think that Cyrus would go down so easy.
Slowly getting to his feet, he attempted to pull the Champ up with him, before aiming to bring his knee crashing in to Cyrus' sternum.

Cyrus was brought up and then crashed back into the canvas after the knee smashed into his sternum.

After Cyrus crashed down to the ground, Nuke knew he had to capitalise. Grabbing the ankle of the Champ, he would attempt to bring him in to a standing Ankle Lock!
