Phantom sat on the desk and read a paper as well. "How did your fight with Avarice go? I'm surprised you are here right after that. I figured you would be with Kirai after that."

William was quiet for a moment. "I couldn't find her, and I heard that you left so I followed you to make sure you were alright." William was praying that his bluff was enough.

"And Avarice, what happened to Avarice?" Phantom didn't look up from her paper, but she felt like she could burn through it for how hard she was staring at it to resist looking up at William.

"You couldn't have just left, you had your blades out and everything. He hurt me, your sister, and the woman that you love at the moment. You wouldn't have the will power to walk away!" Phantom put down her paper and looked William over. "Edward, what the hell is going on!?"

"I do but was hoping that his man hood would be chopped off by you. Kirai would have the next go then I would. He used me so I go last." Phantom looked at William with a stern look. "Edward, how long have you been taking care of Kirai?"

"A long time." Was all that William could think, considering it was common knowledge that Edward had been gone for over 200 years. "What does that have to do with the fact that I was going to let you two have your shot at him?"

"Fine." Phantom picked up all the papers that William hadn't read and the one he was reading and locked them all in the desk. "No one can read these, neither you or I. I'm surprised I still have the god damn key."
