XxX [Alexandro WyattD'elion] XxX Alex heard the girl stuttered a little before finally giving him her name. Her name ran in his head a couple of time, making it stick there. Flushed and stuttering, was she nervous? At least he wasn't the only one, he thought with a single chuckle. But his eyebrows quickly furrowed at his own nervousness, no woman ever made him nervous, he was acting like a foolish child. When Alex looked back up at Suzanne, he noticed her small side glances across the room. His eyes soon moved to where she was looking, noticing the two girls from earlier glaring. He sighed, women are so viscous. He laughed, looking back up at Suzanne. "No, I'll let you escape." He joked, giving her a small wave. Ignoring the other two girls, Alex dug into his sandwich, he loved a good meatball sandwich and this cafe made the best in the whole town. Once he was finished, he looked p to notice the two girls approaching him and sitting down at his table. "Why, hello hello." He greeted in his usual joyful tone. "And how may I help the two of you?" He asked, knowing what they wanted. They both began babbling on about how he looked and hooking up some time, these types of women were far too expendable to him. He sighed, saying he was busy this afternoon and gave them both his number and sending them off with a simple. "Call me"He stood up, walking to the cashier to pay for his meal when his blackberry vibrated. He pulled it out and looked at his own self reminder. "Visit Dad." was written across the screen. He growled at the idea of driving out on that desolate road to no where to go see the mess of a father he had left. He payed and walked out to his car.

"...What's this?". s u z a n n e m a e h e n d e r s o n . Suzanne smiled at him when he sent her off. As she walked away from the table and into the cafe, the eyes went with her, she could feel it but was too scared to look. She wished she could glare back at them and stick her tongue out playfully, but of course, she wouldn't. Suzanne shuffled back to the counter and continued her work, but now and then she got distracted and she stared at the man through. He must be somewhere her age, she thought. Suzanne must have stared at him for too long, because the manager had called her three times. Suzanne hit her head slightly, reminding her not to look out the window again. Why was she so attracted to that man? What made her feel so interested about him? What... Just then, Suzanne tripped on her foot and almost sent the tray flying, but one of the waiters managed to catch her, and the tray as well, before they both hit the ground. Now Suzanne had all eyes on her again, and her face was mad red. This never happens at all. Well, maybe just a once when she was still new around here. And when her shoe lace was off... Oh and also that time when that little kid stretched his foot out on her. That little devil, she cursed the boy once again in her mind. But all that didn't have anything to do this time. Who was it to blame, then? Him? Well, maybe. Because her mind was full questions and also images of him, smiling warmly at her... And there she goes again, daydreaming.
After being dragged into the small, stuffy room at the back(it could barely fit three person) and also a few yells in her ear, Suzanne shuffled back out with her yet a few more eyes on her. This time they added chuckles in it. Suzanne could do nothing more but ignore all of that and continue her work, trying to be friendly again. When she looked out of the window, she noticed that the man was already gone. And so were the girls. Suzanne's heart sank, she went to one of her friends, Emily, who was also working there and dragged her to the back of the counter. "Oh, that cute blond guy? He left not long ago, Zanne. Why?", the brunette said and looked at her in the eyes. "Oh... I was just asking... Did you get his name?", Suzanne asked. But Emily stared back at her with her big, green eyes, not a word from her mouth. "You didn't know? That was Alexandro D'elion! The actor!!" Emily said, jumping up and down in delight. Suzanne went speechless this time. No wonder he was so familiar, and with all the girls falling for him. How could she have forgotten? "Oh, don't worry, Zanne. He comes here a lot, so maybe you'll get to see him again soon" cheered Emily. Suzanne only smiled weakly back at her as Emily turned to her back and went on with work. So she was talking to a star just now. And he asked for her name! This made Suzanne squeal in excitement. But her smile soon turned into a frown when Emily turned back and said "Oh yeah, I think he gave the two girls that were sitting at the table across him his number. Lucky them, I guess" "...Where's everyone?"

XxX [Alexandro WyattD'elion] XxX Alex was at peace when he was riding alone in his car. He was free beyond all reason and able to do whatever he wanted, be whatever he wanted without having to worry about anyone else or what they wanted at all. Usually, on long trips alone in his car, he would think about what he was doing with his life, where he was going to go in life or think about nothing at all. But this time, oh it was different. That girl from the cafe, he couldn't get her out of his head. The image of her burned in the back of his skull like he needed to go back, needed to be by her side. "Suzanne." He mumbled under his breath. Why didn't he get her number? Why didn't he ask her out, say something, do something? He replayed the situation in his head over and over again. His short meeting with her was precious for some reason and he hated that it wasn't a longer one. He punched his dashboard in frustration just as he arrived at his father's prison. Visiting the man Alex called 'Dad' was the same as it always was. Once a month or so, whenever he could get it past his mother's family, He would head up to the prison and talk to his father for a half an hour before they pulled him back into his cage and locked him back up. His father had become weaker as years went by, his mind was fading and he was rapidly rotting from the inside out, it made Alex sit to his stomache. His 30 mins lately had turned into ten before either he would get fed up and walk out or his father would break down again. However, today was slightly different. His father outright refused to see him. He said Alex needed to focus on more important matters and let go of the past he had nothing to do with. Alex sighed, leaving his father a box of sugar cookies with the guard and climbing back into his car, more irritated than before. Then, again he was left alone in his car with the deserted road and his memory of the one girl who brushed him off and went back to work.

"...What's this?". s u z a n n e m a e h e n d e r s o n . The sun has finally set, and night has finally come, Suzanne thought. That meant she would have to leave very soon. She was glad, glad because today seemed much longer than ever. Weird thing was that the cafe seemed to have less customers that night. Usually they have the tables filled in the mornings and especially nights. Was tomorrow a public holiday or something? Well whatever it is, it wouldn't bother her much longer because Suzanne's getting ready to leave work and head home for a nice long bath and a good book to read. The thought of that cast a wide smile on her face as she took care of the last table. "Hey, Zanne! Come over here and take a sip of this mocha!", Emily called. Suzanne head shot up as the word 'mocha' was heard. She skipped happily to the counter where little Emily was. She served Suzanne a large cup of whipped cream mocha with sprinkles on top. "Ooooh, mocha with sprinkles! My favorite!", Suzanne squealed. Emily laughed, and said "Try it and tell me how does it taste like" Suzanne didn't hesitate, of course and quickly reached over for the glass and sipped it. Emily always makes the best coffee in this cafe, and also the best cupcakes. And Suzanne, as a friend was always the first one to try it out. "Mmmm, I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy on the inside now", she giggled. Emily laughed again, and she was feeling really good now after seeing that her friend liked her mocha. She was pleased. "Glad you liked it. Well, I gotta go now. I've got homework to do", she said and winked. The two friends hugged and said their goodbyes.
Suzanne grabbed her sweats and slipped into it, with her messenger bag hanging on her shoulder. Now she was the last one to leave the cafe since she was taking too long on the mocha. Luckily she had her own keys to the cafe or else the boss will start her bickering and ruin her time. Who likes it when you're all relaxed with a cup of coffee in hand and then someone comes and nag at you? She took one last look around the room, making sure everything is fine, then lock the door securely. On the way home, it was awfully quiet. Almost unusual. And it was making Suzanne feel a little paranoid, again. How long was she in the cafe, she began to think. Suzanne managed to calm herself down with some song of her favorite band ringing in her ears, and she also began singing along with it. As usual, she walked by the park, which was also empty and quiet. These was supposed to be a few couples dating here, just like every other night. But no, not a sign of live was to be seen. At least the lights are working, she thought. Suzanne eventually went into the park, in hopes of finding a person in there, but instead her eyes were locked on the beautiful fountain. This was were the couples usually sit, but tonight it was empty. She strolled towards it, and settled down, still humming to the tune of the music. "...Where's everyone?"

XxX [Alexandro WyattD'elion] XxX Alex growled as he went down the long road home. He couldn't believe his father would merely brush him off like that, He knew that Alex took hours to drive all the way out there to see his sorry a** and how does he repay him? Telling him to focus on other things in life? That's ridiculous, stupid, his own son, shunned. He hated this road, it was so vacant, so empty and lonely. He couldn't wait to get back into the city to see all of the people. In a final outburst, he turned on his radio to his favorite band, Blue October. He was just outside of town now, and he was ready to hit up his cousins club and find a girl to make him forget all about his father's apparent lack of parental feelings. He calmed down as What if we could blasted through his radio. When he arrived back into the city he began to get very confused. There was no one around, no one on the streets, no lights on in the houses, no one any where. Was there a huge festival he hadn't heard about? Impossible, he knew everything that went on in this town, his family ran this city! Confused, he began going to public place, party spots, clubs, with no luck. After that, he started on parks. He ran through the larger park the city had, searching for people, now he was getting worried. He saw the large fountain that was usually filled with couples, empty. He ran to the other side of the fountain, this couldn't be happening, what was going on? He gasped to find one single person sitting on it, the girl from the cafe. The waitress he just couldn't get out of his head sitting there, the only one in the whole city besides him. Alex straightened up his back and laughed. "This has to be a joke, right? I mean, no one in the city but you. I have to be dreaming." He concluded. "I have to be. I probably fell asleep in the car, maybe not. Maybe this has all been a dream, maybe I'm still at the prison, still in the cafe." He started laughing louding. "Hell, maybe I dind't wake up at all and this was all a dream 'cause this can't be real." He laughed at himself, looking at Suzanne, maybe she was just another dream of that one true love he'd never have.

"...What's this?". s u z a n n e m a e h e n d e r s o n . The playlist in her iPod replayed, but Suzanne stopped it and took down her headphones. The unusual feeling of the awkward silence was back again as soon as the music stopped. She let her headphones hang around her neck, then shoved the iPod into her pocket. The hands on her wrist watch struck 8, she was sitting here for half an hour, and still nobody was to be seen. This is really strange, she thought. She made up her mind to go straight back home and not think about it. Maybe it's just some big prank, or a party, or maybe it is a public holiday tomorrow. When she was about to get up, she heard a familiar voice from the back. Startled, she turned slowly. And there he was, the guy from the cafe! Her eyes couldn't be any wider, and then she frowned when he laughed, breaking off the silence between them. Suzanne didn't understand what he was saying at first, and that made her confuse. Sleeping, dream, cafe, prison? What was that all about? She tilted her head to the side, staring at him with narrowed eyes. The words repeated in her mind again, and slowly she began to understand a little bit. "Wait...So, you mean... you've checked all the places and there was nobody?", she said and cleared her throat because it was cracked. This couldn't be a dream, it all felt so real... "Is there some kind of a party...or something?"

XxX [Alexandro Wyatt D'elion] XxX Alex was spaced out when she asked her question. All he could think about was that this amazing woman he had happened to meet in the cafe this afternoon, all of his daydreams about her could possibly be nothing, a dream in itself, a figment of his own imagination. He oculdn;t beleive it but had to other explaination for it. What had happened to the town, dream or not? Where had all of the people gone to, just disappearing from their homes and public places? This didn't make sense, how could thousands of people just disappear without a trace? And why had everyone but he and Suzanne disappeared? All of these questions perplexed Alex and torn his brain this way and that. None of his questions were being answered. It wasn't until Alex came back to reality that he had realized she had asked him a question at all. His face jerked back into a regular position as he loooked up at her, his eyebrows furrowed. "A party? That I don't know about?" He asked with a amall chuckle. "Not in a million years. Plus, I already ran all over town. Everyone is gone. Everyone."
