Ma Vie en Rose is a great one that hasnt been mentioned yet. Its really sweet and funny, I strongly recomend it.

When I was living in Baltimore. I would go to this gay boostore called Lambda Rising. I went inside and thy had these movie passes. The first gay movie I ever saw was "My summer of love". it was a interesting movie. In which a girl named lisa a.k.a mona falls for another girl. This girl makes mona happy and tells her everything. think you should check it out if you can. It's a bbc production I think. Also, I saw holiday hearts with Ving Rhames...I think that was him? I don't know.

Yes, I've seen that movie. It made me feel sorry for the boy. He met he's opposite who was a dom girl in drag. That made me happy. His relationship with his mother was a gray line. She called him "Bent" the french equivalent to american queer. I thought that when he ran in that billboard he did it for real.

I'll try to look for the movies you mentioned. I heard somewhere that Ving Rhames did star in a movie in a gay role and I've always wanted to look it up.

As far as Ma Vie En Rose goes...the part that made me cry the most was when the mother was cutting off the little guys hair. That tugged at my heart strings more than anything else in the movie. Talk about a love-hate relationship...ugh!

OMB...I know. It's crazy. I would never leave anybody like that. I'd be there by their side day and night. I can't imagine abandoning anybody in their time of need.

What got to me more was that the mother was trying to rationalize her actions by saying things like, "You have to understand, at those time, nobody knew anything." What a load of bull. stare If you love somebody, you don't leave them, infectious or otherwise.
