he may use plants for weapons but seriously couldnt the writers be a little better on the whole Kurama/Suichi topic?

Using plants as weapons sets out Yoko Kurama/Shuuichi (hope that's spelled right!) as different from the other youkai out there. Most of the other ones just go at it with swords/claws/spirit powers/Jagan/elementals but Kurama uses plants instead.
Kurama also kinda makes a good role model for people [who become really obsessed] who want to become smarter and stronger. My friend (who was just terrible in school with getting her homework in and everything) is now trying to fix that because SHE WANTS TO BE JUST LIKE KURAMA.

I took his name because his personality matches mine when angered, as well as his demeanor. The first time I saw the anime my friend kept saying I acted like him and now my nickname is Kurama... and so is my screenname. (btw, I'm new here... Hi everyone!)

Kurama is my all time favorite anime character. Not only do I like the fact that he's shown as a kind polite character who is very intelligent, there's also the ruthless thief on the flipside of his personality. Also, he looks awesome, in either Yoko or Suuichi form, which is a definite plus ^^. The thing I respect a lot about Kurama, is how he will give up his life to save the people he cares about, which he almost did twice during the dark tournament. And I don't really find what's so weird about Kurama using plants as his weapon. It's the same thing as using fire, water, ice, wind, ect. As for the whole Hiei/Kurama thing, I personally don't think Kurama's gay, or yaoi. I even read once that Yoshihiro Togashi, the person who did the YYH manga did -not- intend for Kurama and Hiei to be a couple. And a lot of times animators like to add their own touches to manga, which is why they might have hinted at that a little bit. Oh, and another thing that bothers me is how some people don't realize that Suuichi Minamino/Yoko Kurama are the same person/demon. They are. First of all, when talking about his past, Kurama says that when he was badly wounded in fox form, he went to earth to find a body to inhabit and was only strong enough to take over an unborn child without a soul...so he takes over who will be Suuichi Minamino. So, Suuichi Minamino's spirit is Yoko Kurama. And when it shows Suuichi transforming into Yoko during the dark tournament, it's only because he takes that potion, or breathes it in that causes him to become younger again...and it takes him back far enough to where he goes to before ever taking Suuichi's body. Well, I'm going to be quiet now, since no one probably cares about what I typed anyway, lol. Soooo...that's a little run down on the fox-boy...from my point of view...^^

Hi minna-sama.... well since this is kurama's room I figured I'd post considering I find that Kitsune absolutely Kawaii. i adore both forms of Kurama.... and Treya Barton is correct when she says they are the same person.... err Youkai/ningen. oh... and treya-san please don't get offended or anything but you forgot the first H in Shuuichi..... unless you were going for the american way of spelling that is. Yeah well I should end this before I tick someone off. So the bottom line is I love Kurama he is the most awesomest yyH Bishi there is. heart heart heart

Ashira Roses are pretty, and that doesn't necessarily mean he's gay. He uses plants for weapons which I consider very cool Exactly! *gets all Hyped up*

I know Kurama is not gay because one of my friends who has seen all of the series (i havent) vaguely described one funny scene in which Hiei gives Kurama something (cant remember gonk ) and kurama says something along the lines of "I dont take things like that from other guys, Hiei" and, of course, Hiei gets pissed, but If that scene is real (and I dont know someone please tell me) then that pretty much cements the fact that he's not gay. Plus the fact that most guys would do pretty much anything to be able to kick as much a** as Kurama can, that includes using flowers as weapons (which I actually think is a nice touch xd )
