Mika had only gone a little bit farther when Sun Li came sprinting after her. If she were going to give him a good chase, she could start running as well. She was pretty quick on her feet when she wanted to be. However, it wasn't considered ladylike. Turning her head, slightly, she paused, waiting for him to get a little closer. Dai tensed a bit, though she raised her hand for him to hold off on drawing his weapon. This was a fellow Warrior, and she didn't want him harmed. "I think, perhaps, your question would be better asked a little more discreetly, don't you?" She grinned before turning to face him. "If you follow me, I know a place we can talk, away from prying ears." She motioned with her head, towards the small inn. Inside was a hidden room, often used by her brother when he came to discuss business. With that, she started walking towards the inn, expecting the two to follow.

Sun Li didn't waste time, and wasn't really paying attention to whether Riku was coming or not. It wasn't that he didn't care, he just figured that the boy would be coming too. He followed Yue into the small in, waiting for her to show them where to go. When she escorted them to a secret room, he wasn't all the surprised, bandits had to conduct business in private, she must had had other such rooms in other places too. He sat down, and looked up at the bandit girl. "Nice room, anyway, I'm Sun Li..."

The innkeeper knew her on sight, and directed her to the hidden room. She slipped him a few mon, telling him that if he made sure to let the other person who was going to be trailing in behind soon in as well, he would get a few more. She gave a quick description of Riku, then headed into the room. Inside was a table and a few chairs, making dealing much easier when they had to. Mika waited until the door was shut, and she couldn't hear the innkeeper's footsteps before removing her hood and starting to talk. "Ya know, trying to oust someone as a Celestial Warrior in the middle of a town, particularly when they got a good rep there isn't nice." The really quiet demeanor that she had given off as Lady Yue was dropped. "And the name isn't Lady Yue. That's just what everyone here knows me as. The name's Mika Miyamoto, and yes, I am a Celestial Warrior. Well... half of one atleast." She sat down, pulling up the bottom of her robe to show the half of a mark. "My twin brother Miki has the other half of it."

Riku got left behind, but he saw the Inn they went into, and he followed, at his own pace. He was in really good shape, but the commoner shoes tended to hurt his feet a bit, since he was used to the ones he ormally wore at the palace. He slipped into the door and looked around, until the Innkeeper recognized him and took him to the room. The older man knocked twice in a row, waited, then knocked again, for some reason, the Prince couldn't tell. The th man opened he dor, shoed him in, then shut it behind.
"Sorry," he said softly, walking over to take a seat, and put his feet up a bit. "I'm notused to walking so much," he murmured, looking to the unveiled woman and blushing.

Sun Li looked to Mika and studied her symbol, "you're half of Tasuki?" He stood up and slipped his pants down his one hip, showing her his mark. "I'm Tamahome... nice to meet you." He put his pants back, then looked to the door as Riku walked in. "So, who are you exactly?" He'd seen some sort of mark on him, but he hadn't been able to see which star warrior he was. It was strange that all of the sudden, three of them were together when he'd never met another one in his whole life.

Looking at the symbol, Mika couldn't be too surprised. Somehow, the symbol was fitting for him, atleast from what she had seen. She nodded, giving him a small smile. "That's right. Nice to meet ya." She had to admit, if she was going to end up running around with the other warriors, she might was well enjoy herself. Despite him trying to ask her such questions in the middle of the town, the guy didn't seem too bad. When the Innkeeper started knocking, signalling that it was him, she nodded to Dai, who unlocked it, and Riku was shown in. Before the innkeeper left, he was handed a few more mon from Dai, who went back to stand guard at the door.
It took Mika a moment to see just who the other man was, giving him a bow. She didn't do it as deep as she should have, given his station, but she somehow doubted that the man was wanting to be so visible. "I have some horses just outside of town. I think we might be doing some more walking later on. You can ride mine." She turned her attention to Dai, giving him a nod. "Go back to camp. Let them know that I'm going to be bringing company." The bandit nodded, before slipping out of the door, which Mika closed behind him. "So, it seems that the Celestial Warriors, though I must admit, I am curious what your star is as well," she said, looking at Riku. She hadn't a chance to see his sign when she passed by, only the glow to show that he was marked.

Riku blinked, realizing that Mika knew who he was, but it seemed to him that she wasn't going to tell the other man, which was good. He didn't want it brocast who he was, since he wasn't even supposed to be out of Eiyoh. He nodded a bit, "thank you," he said before they both asked him what star he was.
"Well, I'm not really a warrior... but I have a mark." He turned toward them and put his collar down, so they could see the outline of the firebird of Suzaku on his neck. "The scholar's don't evn really know why I have it, only that once it showed up, a long time ago, but there isn't much of a record, since the 'Prince' was killed before anything could really be learned and written down."

Sun Li had never heard of an actual Suzaku mark. He'd been school about the other celestial warriors by his grandmother, but she'd never mentioned this sort of mark. "Do you have powers with that mark? I can gather chi, though I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it. My grandma only told me that was my special power... gathering chi..." He shrugged and looked to Mika, then back to Riku.
"I guess you guys can just call me Tamahome. My parents lived here, in Choko, before they were killed in the mountains by a landslide. The town healer took me in when I was small, since everyone thought I brought misfortune. She didn't think that, so I called her grandmother, even though she wasn't. I still have her house, she had some scrolls and letters about Suzaku, I don't know if you want to go back and get them, if they might be helpful."

Mika was about to comment, when she felt a very familiar nagging at the back of her mind. Her expression changed, making her look very calm but very distant. Her mark glowed very brightly, until after a few moments, she seemed to collect herself, shaking her head in an effort to shake off the last remnants of the connection. Turning to Riku, she nodded. "I remember hearing something about it..." She thought she had caught a glimpse of something like that mark in an old journal. Granted, it was in a book she wasn't supposed to read, in a place she wasn't supposed to be, but that never stopped her before.
When Tamahome mentioned his powers, Mika did the only thing she could think of doing as a response. Her hand came out, and a small jet of flame appeared in her hand. "I can create fire. It's not much, but it's something." She shrugged, slightly, before extinguishing the flame. "You can call me Tasuki if you want, though you're going to end up with both me and my brother answering. Mika is probably easier."
Turning her head to Tamahome, she nodded. "That might be a good idea. There are also some things back at camp that we might want." She wasn't going to mention what they were yet, but it was something that she was fairly certain they would want to see. It wasn't everyday that one got to see the holy relics from the old Celestial Warriors.

Riku frowned a bit, "I don't know if I have a power, I'm pretty good at swordwork... but I haven't been in any battles to know if I even have a power." He just stood there, rather uncomfortable and trying to fade into the back ground. He was young, and untempered, and Tamahome was so old and cool and confident. He'd have to see if Sun Li would teahc him how to be a man. He'd have to take over ruling a country sooner or later, and his gentle nature probably wouldn't do him much good on the throne.

Tamahome nodded at Mika, thinking that the more information they had, the better they could do this pre-ordained job they were stuck with. His eyes then went to Riku, and he patted the boy on the shoulder, a bit hard, but not too much, and he smiled a bit. "You'll get to fight soon enough, I'm afraid. These Priestesses always bring trouble. So don't worry too much, alright... maybe I can work with you, and help you out a bit." He moved toward the door, flashing a rather devilish smile toward the cute, red head. "I'll take you to my home, then we can be off..."

"You'll do fine," Mika said to Riku, giving him a smile. She was certain, since he was marked, he would have some sort of power. It just took a little while to unlock it. It took her years to get her pyrokinesis down to where she wasn't setting random things on fire. Her brother still had problems using too much strength, particularly during their leadership battles. Anytime he returned from a long trip after naming Mika leader for the time, they would have to fight for him to get his title back. There were times when he had accidentally broken bones on his sister, which he usually felt afterwards, one of the major cons of feeling each other's pain. She wasn't in the mood for the fight today, so she had planned on just abdicating straight out.
Standing, she nodded to Tamahome, putting her hood back on over her head. With that smirk on his lips, the young man was quite handsome. Mika was very certain she was going to enjoy being around all of the warriors, especially him. "Lead the way."

Riku smiled when Mika gave him her words, and he was grateful. He sometimes felt rather like a caged bird, people would fuss over even a scraped knee. He remembered sneaking out when he was little and playing with some children. When the guard had found him... it was an episode he'd rather forget, but he'd felt like he had no power then, but maybe, with people like Tamahome and Mika there to encourage him, he'll be able to become the kind of man he'd always wanted to me. He stepped up next to Mika, waiting for Tamahome to lead the way.

Tamahome nodded and lead the two out, wondering if he shouldn't offer to help Riku learn some hand to hand combat. A young kid like him, that seemed to at least be a noble, might not have had the opportunity to learn fighting. If the stories from his Grandmother were anything indication, they'd all need to be able to fight, to protect the priestess. He lead them out of the tavern, down the main street, toward a more run down area. Choko wasn't huge, but it took a good 5 minutes to walk to the small house... which was actually closer to a hut, and he opened the door. There weren't valuables left behind, so no one messed with it. He went to a small cabinet in the corner and pulled out scrolls, some of them very old. "These are the stories of the Celestial Warriors when they were here, in Choko. It's all about the plague that once ravaged this town, and about Mitsukake, and the first Priestess, and how they saved everyone. There are also other scrolls that she'd collected when she was younger, from other regions of Konan... I've read them all..."

Following behind Tamahome, she nodded to the inn keeper as she left. She knew he wouldn't spill her secrets, or tell anyone about her visit. Afterall, she was Lady Yue. Everyone in the town loved Lady Yue, or atleast tolerated her. If they knew who she really was, it would be a lot different. Honestly, she was pretty sure the innkeeper knew who she was, but he was very good about keeping his mouth shut.
When they reached the old healer's home, a small smile crossed her lips. She remembered Xiao Xing. The old woman was very kind. Occasionally, before they had their own healer at camp. they would come to her. Always in the guise of a traveler, with the exception of herself. Of course, Lady Yue was the one that "found" the person. She looked at the scrolls, curious about them. "Hmmm... very interesting. These should definitely help." She couldn't help but wonder when the Priestess was going to show up. She almost wondered if they should go find her when she arrived, rather than the other way around.
