Not just a player, but a whole party! xd Some bosses in the game require the player to be in parties because certain dungeons cap the player at a specific level. For example, if I were to fight a Black Dragon and my level were 28, then the entering the dungeon would cause my level to be capped at Lvl 25.

oh wow! FFXI sounds so complex! i think i'll stick to ones where there's no online play

LOL! Yeah, it takes time getting used to the game's various gameplay mechanics. Besides, when I first started, I got killed like 8 times!

yeah, thats one of the reasons why i never play online games. i dont like dying multiple times so early

I don't blame you. There are some games that I prefer playing offline because in online games, there are douchebag gamers that try to make you a laughingstock in the whole game.

plus it lags so much from all the players. it takes like five minutes before the menu pops up!

True, true. But if you think that's bad, then hear this! When you first install the game, you have to wait 5-7 long, fscking hours for the game to be fully updated and installed into your system/computer.

the only online game i ever played for a little bit was Wizard 101. it was okay, but nothing to get excited over. besieds, the only reason i went on was to chat with my girkfriend more when i dont see her
